    Well, I can say that the Acer Aspire One netbooks are flying off the shelves here in Mexico, but sadly the Linux version is not available here.

    So my netbook is counted as a windows sale, but the first thing I did was install Ubuntu Netbook Remix

    I think you misunderstood the parent poster.

    If he had a machine that could duplicate a car without affecting the original, he wouldn't be paying for engineering time of anyone, because the end product he's copying (the car) is already finished.

    And no, even in that case it would not be thievery in my opinion, although the automakers would probably want to argue patent infringement and would send an army of lobbyists to washington to outlaw such duplication machines...

    In my city, there are 11 subway lines, two light-rail lines, two enclosed-lane bus lines and literally hundreds of bus and minibus routes...

    We still get awful gridlocks :(

    I was under the impression that Linux installs on netbooks are gradually disappearing, replaced by Windows XP

    I have used Linux as my only desktop since 2006 (dualbooted from 1999 to 2006)
