  1. Re:dirty tricks on Election Dirty Tricks About To Begin · · Score: 1

Once you are behind that curtain, you can vote for whomever you damn well want.

Candidates here in Mexico (of all parties) go to poor districts and deliver food, blankets, T-shirts, etc. in order to try to "buy" votes.

However the people already know that that doesn't mean they have to vote for a particular one... In fact, some people go and collect gifts from all parties, in exchange for some empty promises.

But this is largely irrelevant, as pretty much anyone who actually needs CMYK support already owns a professional-grade graphics program, so why would they want to use the GIMP?

Because I dream of the day I can do everything I need to do on a computer using free software?

Now, people with their legs chopped off might be more effective. I bet there are quite a few military veterans right now who'd be happy for the ride, and have a lot of upper body strength to bring to their efforts.

Read "Falling Free" by Lois McMaster Bujold, it describes a race of humanoids genetically designed to live in zero-g.

Their most obvious trait is that they don't have legs; they have four arms.

Of course, this often results in bumbling parents making roughly the same amount of mistakes their parents made, only different.
