Doesn't double OT already kick in at 50-60? I worked at a shoe factor one summer and I thought it was hours over X or on Sundays that triggered double-OT for us.
Anecdotally, I disagree. A friend of mine was some kind of HR manager and said that when you factor in the logistical costs of an employee (benefits, health care, etc.), it's actually better to have one guy working a lot of OT than bring in two for 30 hours/week or so.
Probably more like it was 80-20 Israel with some assistance from the US. As much as Israel tries to convince us that their interests are our own, they're usually acting like any other country and looking out for themselves. Their attempts to convince the American public to invade failed, so Stux was plan B.
So, do you dismiss Disney for creating the first color animated feature and the first movie length animated feature because it was based on an old fairy tale? Is every book adapted to film a "rip off"?
Disney was a cool, innovative entertainment company while Walt was alive. He was the Pixar of the mid 20th century. It was long after his death that Disney turned into the "milk parents company." Disney still churns out the occasional hit like The Lion King, but most of their releases are shamelessly accountant-driven.
Blame the PEOPLE. Government isn't some nebulous entity out there trying to screw with you. This has all been happening because Americans are quite willing to sacrifice freedom for security. Shockingly, the stats back that up. Americans now have the mindset that government should do everything and anything to stop an act of terror, and if something happens there has to be someone in government to blame for it.
In that environment, a politician would be a fool not to adhere to the will of the people.
Obamacare + foreign workers = WIN! (for you click-whoring editors)
By this logic, probably every government IT project has some element of either outsourced labor or parts manufactured overseas. Right now, I'm trying to find an article that I can reduce to a headline with big tits, gun rights, and failed Bush foreign policy in it...
I maybe go to 5 movies a year and *maybe* once I've seen someone talking on a cell phone. I think it's really rude, but the "yapping in a movie" thing is almost a meme that doesn't seem to warrant the attention.
The evidence isn't all in yet, but I've also had a VERY strong suspicion some kind of surveillance was ongoing; sanctioned or not. Too much information conveniently turned up too quickly. Really, how the HELL did they find that gun that had been discarded off the side of the road into a bunch of trees?
It won't be like driving a car. You accelerate 1/2 of the way there, turn around, and decelerate the rest of the way. That way you're at 1 G the whole time.
"Ever hear of 'supply and demand'? There is a limited supply of qualified management people, and there is high demand for those people. If you want to attract those people, you must pay them."
Yeah, that's what management sits around telling themselves at the Country Club. Management simply has keys to the piggy bank. You could find people to take their jobs for 1/3 the wages and benefits as well, but that would be an outrage!
Welcome to the 21st century USA; where if you're not raping workers (I mean THOSE workers, not us guys) for benefits and salaries, it's bad for business and bad for America! You should see the forums about that recent Supreme Court ruling against unpaid internships. People were actually COMPLAINING about it!

Here's the ingenious part, though. You want until Winter and all the chimps freeze to death!
I saw a documentary on Encore last year. They have a hankering for bouncing women in bikinis.
Life...hmm...uh...will...uh...find a way.

I'm doing so much damage in Battlefield 3 my fingers are getting tired.

No it wasn't. No more than the US is a different country any time some yahoo militia declares itself an independent nation.

Some would argue the chihuahua head on her body is an improvement.
Robot Satan: "Well, it's back to hell for me! C'mon Nixon!"
Wait, so Richard Stallman is Palpatine, Linus is Darth Maul, Steve Ballmer is Obi Wan and Bill Gates is Luke?

How are you doing to do that if you have to run back home to your keyboard, Mr. Internet Tough Guy?
I don't get it.

Correct, nuthin' beats a dead horse. -- Ben Dover

Twink was also the old school Netrek term for noobie, unskilled players.
