I'm glad your taste buds are so evolved, Mr. Slashdot Cuisine! I've tried twinkies before, and they're good enough that your family will have to shackle you to stop you from scarfing down the whole box! Paraphrasing Chris Rock, twinkies are so good you'll suck a dick for one.
I was looking for a RAID enclosure for my little VM setup. What I got was a hard drive array (basically a port extender) with a RAID card thrown in. I went back to look at the advertisement to see how I got it wrong, and the ad used very deceptive wording about "additional items" included. Very shady and one of those transactions that evaporates any trust you might have in a vendor.
Any other definition will become blurred into total surveillance. Some guy on the most wanted list for 10 years could be used as an excuse for a drone hovering over your town 24/7.
It's enterprise software and we were actually informed by Perforce after maybe 10 years on a license that since our user base is so small we can use it for free. I think the cutoff is based on the number of licenses per server. I've never needed my own personal SCM, but I'd go w/ Perforce if I never needed one.
I love how all these companies who had no qualms about collecting our personal data and slinging it to anyone with a paycheck have all of a sudden become Constitutional warriors.
So, instead of making money off of researching the viability of stocks, let's prop up the market on millisecond trades based on the trend some statistician found where brick and mortar prices dip for 5 minutes when everyone is taking a post-lunch shit. Nothing to be worried about here...
Right now, SSDs aren't a *economic* replacement for hard drives. But, if you're willing to shell out more for performance, then they're viable replacements. I'm running a 512MB SSD in my laptop for the OS (data on a hard drive RAID-1). I know there are organizations using SSDs for high-performance RAID-10s which is a great application if you've got the coin.
One of the great things about Christoper Reeve's version is that Superman had subtle "flaws". He did have a bit of arrogance to him; e.g. when as a teen he raced his friends (and the locomotive) home.
You realize that successful blockbusters aren't the norm right? But, I guess that doesn't matter since you're trying to rationalize your pirated DVD collection. I bet you're sitting at home right now complaining about how much the free version you torrented "sucks".
I almost got into an argument w/ a coffee shop owner over this. She wanted more male models on the Price is Right. For what? People, even women, like seeing attractive women pushing products they use. Don't believe me? Check out any magazine's advertisements.
It's always parsed wording. Kinda like Apple said it was unaware of the government's Prism program. Now, of course they were aware they were piping private info out to the Feds. They just didn't know the program name.
I also love the irony here. So, Snowden devastated US intelligence with this leak, but he's completely wrong and lying and exaggerating about what he knows?
Three was good, not OK. I'd give it a 6.5/10. Probably a whole 1/2 point for the way they tied the whole franchise together. But, I thought the sexbot thing was overdone.
Four was a great look at the SkyNet future; maybe 7/10. I suspect that Bale-fatigue has more to do w/ it's low rating than the film itself. Much in the same way the *excellent* Tom Cruise flick Minority Report suffered from the haters.
I just think it's odd that people would say either of those films suck since by no standard would I give either film anything less than 3/10. But, in the world of hyperbolic criticisms, I guess "suck" is the equivalent of "wasn't an 8/ or 10/10 in my book".
Free software engineering degrees. The massive increase in geek population will no doubt cause reproduction rates to plummet. Throw in government-subsidized WoW accounts and we'll have negative population growth in 4 years tops!
I was with you until the Obamacare crack. Healthcare costs have been skyrocketing for 30 years, now if anyone's premium goes up a dollar that's because of Obamacare? Costs aren't going down, but at least the rate they're growing has started slowing down.
Keep writing your Congressmen AND your local media outlets. Actually, write a letter, email it again, then call and leave a brief message about the same topic. And, make it clear that you will vote them out on that issue. They do cave in when they think their jobs are on the line.

Yeah, you'd need something the size of a "truck" to carry around that much shielding.

Yeah, this is old news. Spying on diplomats is a great way to figure out how to bribe them into pushing their host nations in your direction.

Then, go visit that country.
Take the MSF course offered closest to you. It also gets you out of your state motorcycle driving test.
...on antibiotics.
That's all interesting and stuff, but I'd like to hear more about the hot secretary.

Thanks very much Juan!
Meteoroids are in space; meteors burn up (or explode?) in the atmosphere, meteorites strike earth.
