I have heard too many bad things from the developer tools to software for managing the things to trust them with much of anything.
It seems to me the best thing that they can do is improve their developer tools to a level similar to Visual Studio or XCode, and not release things earlier then needed.
There are two purposes I can see for a permit system:
1. It provides a framework to limit activities in the park, and
2. it can provide a source of funding for the park.
I think in the case of the former, there are some activities one does not want done: such as building a structure. Other activities such as littering does not require the use of a permit, as normal laws quash that.
In the case of the latter, it is entirely possible to just have an entrance fee for the park – if that is legal.
Ultimately, I don't see a need for either need, as unsuitable excess will either happen rarely or can be punished/prevented through normal laws.
Based on the text of the story, it seems to me that the park staff have no reason other than they don't like it. Which is not a valid reason in this context.
You are making two mistaken assumptions here.
1. There are no standard ports for bittorrent anymore as evidenced by the randomize port button being checked by default in many clients.
2. You are then assuming that the roommate is technically less than competent.
Presumably both are paying for it. Which indicates to me, that either have the rights to the router it is connected to.
One possible solution is to see if there is a WiMAX internet provider around, and a new internet connection can be done.
For most people this doesn't matter simply because it is not an iPad.
But consider, that all of these jokers coming out with new tablets are in such a rush they can't even be bothered to make their software presentable. To me that just wastes all of the effort put together to try to make the device. Whoever has that sort of mindset at the companies involved should not be in the position to say SHIP!
I have done some instrumentations and control at college and now at university doing electrical engineering. What would you recommend for going down the path of embedded programming and related fields?
Where does it say '127 mph'? It would explain why he was pulled over (which looked reasonable), but I didn't see anything indicating speed (fish eye lens isn't a good indicator to me).
Based on the video, it looks like it has potential. But there are many things that are just a poor user interface.
An example would be the speed that it takes to start up. GIMP just looks out of place.
Note that I am comparing this to an iPad – and for good reason – this resembles the same target market to me.
Assuming they could do everything the article says, which in itself is very unlikely...
Where are they going to get the fresh water from that we need to survive?
It seems to me that if the government thinks it can predict these things and takes certain actions in prevention, it might actually cause the problem that is predicted, and thus validate the method.
A school I applied to (Lakehead in Thunder Bay), uses gmail. As far as I can remember there is a certain amount of data that a university deals with cannot be transferred out of Canada due to our privacy laws. I hope they don't fall afoul of that.
I think this idea might work best with a functional language like Haskell. But I can't imagine this being good for Java or any other object oriented language.
Police come to your door due to a missing little girl they are looking for. They want to ask you if you have seen her. Do you deny any answer to the police or simply answer their question with a "no"?
Sir, while I appreciate your insight, I believe your entire post is as unmaintainable as the code that you are discussing would become.
You lack any proper sentence structure making it very difficult to understand what you are trying to do. I recommend, as a start, that you should use some capital letters at the beginning of a sentence; and, read up on proper comma use.
That has absolutely nothing to do with what we were talking about. Our impact on the level of oxygen through our combustion of fuel is bordering on rounding error.

But is it really a problem?

Where is this a problem? 12AM is the start of the morning, and 12PM is noon. Where does this not work?

If you are being picky, then it is 'redundant' not 'redondant'.
Has there been any indication of how long Chernobyl will be uninhabitable by our species?

has come to Canada
You will die on the web.
I don't see what is wrong with this in general. I might not like the rate, but I think I would rather have a usage based internet anyways.

Why didn't we have this stuff in the late nineties?

Look up something called Moral Rights.
