I don't think you quite understood. One can be similar without being a clone. Halo is not a Doom clone, nor is it a clone with a twist. Nor was it something completely new. What I was getting at is most indie games try to go to the extremes of one or the other.
To be fair though, if I see one more indie tower defense game, I'm going to scream (queue the screams). Most indie games seem to take one approach or the other, either be a clone, or be completely different than anything else (or a clone with a *twist*! that might as well be a clone).
Right. Because there's no way to store the apps on the SD card. Android devices don't need HOURS of work, drama queen. When you boot up your phone, it installs the apps. When you plug in the SD card, the data is there. You'd have to go out of your way to mess that up. Being a software engineer is about as generic a term as "I work in IT", and it's clear your knowledge does not go into mobile devices. That gets you nothing, stop embarrassing yourself.
Actually, he probably didn't need to click anything. Swap the SD card (not that you'd know what that is) and enter your email address. The phone will automatically start downloading and installing your apps, and your music/photos/etc. are on your SD. No computer required.
Attacking an enemy in any way puts US troops at risk from enemy action, it doesn't matter if they aren't there for that one particular incident. It's not like the enemy is going to see some US troops the next day and go "Meh, they weren't even there. Not their fault."
The "article" calls them "peaceful protesters". Isn't destroying property considering vandalism? Considering the value of the crops, wouldn't that also be considered a pretty serious felony? I admit I don't know how the courts work over there, but that seems like a pretty serious crime.

I was always under the impression it was called the iTunes App Store. Although I realize my opinion has no weight in the larger scheme of things, I'd see a problem if Amazon called it the aTunes App Store or something...but App Store in the American vocabulary does not mean iTunes App Store. My mom calls the Android Market the app store. I don't see anyone getting confused, as most people call any application distribution platform an app store.
And by the way, Google's app store is called the Android Market, which is very specific, and leaves no confusion about what it is. Amazon can open a 'market' or an 'amazon market' but they can't open an Android Market.
Windows is a generic term in certain uses. You can call the underlying x window system a 'window', and multiples of it 'windows'. You cannot call your OS Windows. That's not the same. You're comparing Apples and Oranges (pardon my pun).
While GV doesn't have a desktop client, they do have an addon for Chrome which is quite useful, it allows you to use the browser to send and receive texts.

Show me a single instance in the Constitution of the United States, the Bill of Rights, or the Declaration of Independence where the term 'democratic' in any variation is used. There isn't. However, Article IV, section 4 says that "The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government". Seems like this bill is simply trying to reflect the Constitution.
