Off of vain people although I find that being bald is not only cheaper but neater. Now if they can only find a way to get reverse the hair growth on my back.
I'm a production director of a radio station so I'm constantly working on commercials. Although I don't go so far as to brickwall things, I do use a variety of compressions, limiters, and EQ to balance out the sound of a commercial -- usually to even out a vocal performance or to make it work with music and sound effects better. There's a cookie cutter and hamfisted way to do it and then there is actually using your ears to do it correctly. That said, what was done with the 5.1 remasters of the Genesis catalog were a travesty. Any dynamism was lost because suddenly what was supposed to be a quieter acoustic section was as loud as the full band playing all out. That's not the way it's supposed to sound.
The horseshoe industry has forbidden all its workers from mentioning the word "automobile". Said their representative, "Then and only then can we endeavor to preserve a way of life we have all come to know and love".
How can I sell my e-book for 5.99 when someone is selling their's for.99? Maybe quality trumps price in certain cases. Maybe some people just like cheap and weren't going to pay more than.99 for a book or game.
The systematic creation of an overarching "security" apparatus was every only for one purpose and that was to be used as a weapon in the defense of corporations.
I can see engineers and scientists loving the challenge of this project and others to come. The human spirit is always in need of a challenge to bring out the best in everyone. I think this is a terrificly exciting thing they're doing.
Exactly right. A scientist can talk about "specific impulse" until he's blue in the face but the person interested in spaceflight just wants to know how fast the damned thing goes.
What the U.S. government probably has is 60+ years worth of wasting taxpayer dollars on black projects that went nowhere. I've come to believe that flying saucers were a cover story and false hysteria created by the government as a way to both deflect the truth and create a system where observers could be dismissed as kooks.
Yes, indeed. I saw it happen to my mother in the year before she passed. She was an M.D. in life and it was tragic to witness her decline. I certainly hope that scientists will be aggressive in coming up with treatments if such treatments are possible.
RIP -- truly a visionary of the finest kind.

Exactly. The selection of pilates videos is phenomenal as are the exercise videos featuring a giant ball. Well worth the price.

Loss of license to practice law for life might be a way to dissuade the next person.
Too much money at stake for high-stakes players. They'll saw off a couple of corners to make it fit.
To get in the pilot's seat of an Airbus A380. All those flying lessons in my den will pay off big time.
It is rather breathtaking to see what the real exercise of power is even if it is in the cause of greed.
This "rogue" group stinks of HB Gary.

Free standing, self contained, powers it's own cooling system. At the first sign of trouble, it launches itself into space. I think it could work.
It's the importance of being earnest.
Is being in trouble for conversing with a fictional character.
I didn't know 13 year olds could become cops.
You're remembering the future.

Print is dead.
Absolutely a good idea. Let the artist benefit from his work, not a series of middlemen each with a hand in the till.
The Internet is ignoring you...for now.
