"Today, the Zeppelins have returned. In 1997, the Zepplin Luftschifftechnik built a new airship -- the LZ NT. The ship is certified. Commercial passenger flights began 15 August 2001."
In Croatia there is only one DSL provider (the national network). The cheapest package is 40$/month (265$ setup) and that's 384/64 with 1GB of monthly bandwidth (yeah, one gig!), each additional MB is 10 cents. The most expensive is 580$/month (350$ setup) 1,5M/256k, 12GB of bandwidth, each additional MB is 8 cents.
Remember that the next time you bitch about your connection being expensive.
I would not. I'm a big music fan and collector, and there are several problems for "us":)
- lossy compression and other problems with MP3 - CD-Rs are inferior to silver discs which will last me a lifetime and not fall apart in 5 years - there is no cheap & quality way that I could print out an album booklet and inserts - I consider an artist's album (cd, booklet, packing) a complete piece of art and that can't be substituted with getting a bunch of files.
The Mars Simulation Project is a free software Java project to create a simulation of future human settlement of Mars.
It under development. In the latest version you can scroll around the Mars map, look what's going on in the bases, watch colonists drive around in rovers and grow food.
For a VPS I suggest Slicehost. Xen for 20$/month. AJAX-ified management of your account, console access, DNS, great choice of distributions.
Also a great community on the forums and chat.
Is this the end of Apple?
You can find large resolution photos and news on the Official website. Looks like they're still digging.
They should do a movie based on the Knights Of The Old Republic RPG story. That was the best Star Wars story ever.
The new XBMC DVD player is under development, most of the basic features work (menus!), but it not yet mature enough to be committed to the cvs.
Try Sitebar. It runs on a PHP/MySQL server (public servers available) and there are plugins/extensions for major browsers.
