How can you give props to snood for being inovative when its a blatant ripoff of bust a move which came out several years before snood was even conceived.
In fact, jet fuel is highly refined kerosene, or what the Brits used to call "parafin oil" - because it is a relative of the parafin wax used to seal canning jars, and MAKE CANDLES!
No. Parafin Oil comes from wax, kerosene is refined from gas and oil.
Can't a user configure Microsoft Word to "slow save" a document, deleting all undo-across-save information, whenever closing it? If so, how?
Not sure about that, (I've never really cared) but you can easily do "save as" and pick some format other than.doc to lose the undo-across-save features, much like you can save pdf files in photoshop as gifs and lose layers and history and such.. undo across save really is a feature and not a bug, but unfortunately, when you are working with text, the end result is the same as the working file unlike photos which are typically saved in a different format from the raw file.
The best advice anyone can give you, is to let your child do most of the work. Let them design it and let them paint it and apply graphite to the wheels. Sure it might not be the best looking car and it might not be the fastest, but 10 years down the line, your child will remember making the car with dad although they probably won't even care how well they did in the race.
I agree, php-Nuke is great if you want a site that basically is/. except written in php instead of perl. But if you want to have anything to functions much differently its almost easier to find something else than to try and make nuke fit your needs.
Does it even compare to Photoshop where professionals are concerned?
Not really.. as great as the GIMP is, it still has a ways to go before it can pry photoshop out of the cold dead hands of the people who use photoshop what it is intended for rather than just for general cropping and resizing.
Not to mention the GIMP looks horrible on every OS due to the gtk widgets whereas photoshop is native to every OS it runs on and looks like a professional program. I guess you get what you pay for though.
I submitted this same story around the same time and being the rabid mac hater that I am, I still managed to try not to make the submission sound baised and what happens, they post the one submitted by an anonymous reader which is overly rude and biased.
although a lot of the ones posted by micheal seem to be submitted by anonymous readers and other unlinkified names, so perhaps he just rewrites them and doesnt accredit the submission to anyone..
A hugely ambitious project to find and name every species on Earth within the next 25 years has been launched by scientists.
Haven't they been doing that for the last couple of hundred years? What makes them think the can do it in 25 when a few hundred years of science has just barely scrapped the surface.
there is no reason it has to read the data off of a dvd though. I see no reason why one can't bypass the dvd reader and put some kind of gc to pc cable on and make it read from an ide harddrive.
thats more along the lines of what I was thinking.. I can't possibly imagine anyone spending any amount of money on obsolete hardware as it can be had for free of internet forums all the time.
With all the hype over blogs lately, it would seem appropriate to suggest finding a livejournal community dedicated to music or a similar blog or forum which discusses music to broaden your tastes a little.
You could always check out the local music section at the record store to get exposed to the new music the kids in your area are making. Occaisionally you'll find some gems in with the crap, but it may be a difficult search.
So basically what you are saying is some authors are good from the get go, some grow into it later and some are initally good and then burn out? Well that basically covers the entire spectrum when talking about anything.
You have to put the driver in kernel space if you expect any kind of decent video performance. Do you think that your favorite free os does it any differently?
I honestly don't understand why these weren't "invented" years ago. They are just touchscreen laptops that have the screen attached to the back. A lot of these tablet pcs even work like laptops except the lcd hinge is made in such a way they can be swiveled around and folded underneath.
Pocket Tanks was rather popular where I work, and before that it was BridgeBuilder, both quite fun until they stopped letting us play games.

the development of a non-toxic, easily handled fuel made from a substance similar to what is used in common candles.
All these years and they've finally gotten around to seeing if wax would burn?
Image processing features / price = infinitity :-)
That's hard to beat..
Image processing features / price = ERROR DIVISION BY ZERO

For example, I, for one, just how long the battery on that super 1337 Alienware notebook lasts.
What?

Let me wager a guess at how many that would be.. perhaps zero??

This whole process cost them thousands of dollars and untold hours.
sure.. like old 2/386 computers cost anything.. I might believe the untold hours, but come on.. this sure is some sensationalist hype.

They point to the fact that the current "Back" is more of an "Up" in a stack of pages.
If by "up" they mean down. Or perhaps they enqueue things on the bottom of their stack.

Apparently neither you nor the person who modded this as insightful read the article.

Penny-arcade had a decent review of atleast one tablet pc. On 2002-11-27 and 2002-11-28.
