Ever wonder if legal jargon is really just magic spells being spoken aloud? Lawyers and judges could actually be modern-day warlocks and witches locked in an eternal battle for good and evil on the battlefield of the court!

People who leave things unsecured are responsible for creating thieves and crime...Just watch Full Metal Jacket, Senior Drill Instructor Gunnery Sergeant Hartmann said so! There's a reason locks and passwords are made, if you leave things out in the open, you run the risk of having it taken and therefore responsible for said actions. It's all about responsibility, see? You know we have this freedom and can do whatever you like, but you might have to pay for the consequences. It's your stuff, man, protect it and yourself! It's what any good citizen should do. =D

How does it work, if at all?! I know, dumb, right?

You know how some video is available for streaming, I can gather its simpler since its a "one-way play" type of tech. I suppose it would be virtually impossible for interactivity with a streaming application? I'm probably sound really dumb, but anyway, just curious.

I have to say that this guy is onto something when he mentioned that, "we're reliving the 1970's with this stuff." I've had that sinking feeling myself on more than one occasion in the last five years. With so many political, economic and global comparisons of what's happening now to the seventies, hell we're even feeling the same level of mistrust in our government or maybe its just me. Tell me, oh venerate ladies and gentlemen of the "Carter years," if I am reaching too far...I really can't say for sure since I was born *right* after it ended. Nothing ever truly dies, they evolve. Hasn't anyone noticed the signs of mutation, yet? I'm excited, aren't you?! Okay, I'll stop now.

I really can't agree with number one of this list on *one* thing. Right, a single personal computer could not be left on for that long without problems, but most of the "suddenly-sentient" systems in movies are something akin to servers and data centers and they have all sorts of redundancy, along with tons of other stuff to allow them to keep running. Add to the fact that most of the BS fiction has these systems running some sort of "special" programs that somehow, metaphorically speaking, allows them to grow a brain...I'm not saying these things aren't ridiculous, just get your argument right.

A bunch of laptops and pcs are hp nowadays and compaq is hp and acer and all that mess, as well as the printers and like everyone is saying, servers and business gear is mostly HP. The *only* competition is IBM and that's because they've been around longer than our grandparents, when computers were counting machines. I liken them as the Marvel and DC of the tech world...but enough of going on tangents.
