Its not enough to reject the idea any more. Because they'll keep trying until they wear enough people down to get what they want. There is only two viable options here. Succumb to their idiotic ideas (which is where this is going to end), or reject them so forcefully that the next person to think of doing it won't open their mouth (and be labeled a "hater/bigot/racist" in the process).
In the world where feelings matter more than reality, those with more emotions always win.
There is nothing wrong with using "words" that describe the situation succinctly. Emotionally damaged people shouldn't be ruling the world, any more than psychopaths should be.
You said "Zero Prohibitions". I found one. I can't tell if you're simply a troll or can't finish the sentence which contains..."sell him", which is more than simply kidnapping. Don't you think?
There are lots of things "permitted", like slavery polygamy, but that doesn't indicate that it was promoted. The Bible is pretty clear that slaves are also "humans" and not sub human, and were to be treated humanely. I wouldn't call it "pro slavery" as much as "permitted".
Trump is a symptom of the idiocy of the Kardashian Generation. Between him and Clinton, it shows that the average American can only pick psychopathic ego driven demons.
I happen to like the First Amendment. We're not like other countries. I don't want to be like other countries where you can go to jail or be fined for expressing yourself.
When you systematically give 30 hours per week to a larger number of part time employees just to avoid having full time employees
That there is the problem with mandating wages, hours and benefits from Government. We saw this before it happened, and now that it has, the liberals can't figure out how it happened. How about, you get the Government out of telling businesses how to hire, what wages it shall pay, and what benefits it will offer.
I'm sure all those 30 hour employees would much rather have 40 hours. But the liberal agenda has caused businesses to respond this way, and it was foreseen by anyone with half a brain. So, the liberal solution? More of the same, expecting different results.
If you can automate a human out of a job, you should. Automation eliminated all kinds of jobs over the last 150 years, and it isn't going to change any time soon. That automation has enabled subsistence farmers to become very wealthy in comparison middle class people of today, with cars, high tech cooking, purified bottles of water with flavor, a pocket device that gives you access to the world's knowledge.
And with all that progress, some people are no longer able to do the jobs they used to do.
Bernie Sanders would make (and would have made) a much better president than either Hilary Clinton or Donald Trump.
Bernie would be disastrous as President, worse than the other two, and I can't stand either of them either.
The idea that Bernie, a failed everything before politics guy, can run anything is laughable. His only contribution to society is the butt of jokes about "The 1%", and showing how corrupt Hillary actually is.
I'll happily go the Happy Hippie Jesus was a socialist route, if you agree that the highest tax is 10% (the Tithe), which only paid for widows and orphans and Levites (Priestly class) who couldn't own property. Deal?
Voters don't want someone they don't adore as an icon.
Sure they do. That is exactly what they do. GWB isn't the exception, but largely because he was only a slightly better optical choice to Al Gore and John Kerry.
It also explains how Hillary lost, in spite of having the media, and spending advantages. She was poor optics.
Keep in mind, it is the flexible middle that count in these elections, not the entrenched base which is not affected by optics.
The Government was purposely designed to not work very well, requiring a lot of parts working together to actually change anything. This is not a flaw, it is a feature. The fact that this feature turns out to be flawed is no coincidence, and we can see the effects of stupid laws still to this day. See Prohibition for example.
Plenty of bad laws come from people shouting "We have to do something, this is something, therefore we ought to do it".
Just because we can do something doesn't mean we ought to do something.
However we have a President treating the presidency like a Reality TV Show, and not government.
This was started with Bill Clinton playing Sax on late night TV. It carried through to Camera loving Obama and his zealousness for being a Pop Culture icon along with Beyonce and Oprah.
Now that the shoe is on the other foot, you don't like it? Convenient. As far as I can tell, Trump is everything people liked in Obama and Bill Clinton, but wrapped in an Oompah Loompa suit. People are okay with it, because that is what we've had for the last 18 of the last 26 years.
Just admit you're pissed that Hillary couldn't rig another election, after not being able to beat a Junior Senator / Community Organizer the last time around.
Alcohol isn't as dangerous on its own. They included the results of risky behavior and impaired operation of machines. That is like saying getting a blowjob is dangerous, because they included accidents caused while getting a blowjob while driving.
While I am sure that certain activities while impaired are more dangerous (driving), I would suggest that being stupid is dangerous, and alcohol makes one dumber than before. They don't call it "Beer goggles" for no reason.
There are plenty of decent and enterprising people who will happily do the job of CEO for a decent 6-figure salary.
There aren't plenty of people who are capable of doing that job. Supply and Demand.
To gain the experience and education and work ethic needed to be a CEO is much more rare than people like you seem to think. There is a hierarchy of competence that is formed and it is constantly flexible. Call it the Peter Principle if you will. There are all sorts of stories of people walking their way up the chain of command, and the people at the very top must be able to navigate the entire pathway from the start to the top. And the number of people who can navigate that path are few and far between.
While I am 100% sure I could do the job of CEO of a company, I have not yet been able to navigate through the maze. I know my weaknesses in the mid level steps are the reason. I'm fairly certain I know the reasons why, but am unwilling to change in the areas that would be required to advanced.
You don't understand, "privilege" is a sign of "oppression" and therefore bad.

Boy who cried wolf is a cautionary tale, not a how to manual.
He who kidnaps a man and sells him, or if he is found in his hand, shall surely be put to death. (Exodus 21:16)

You win the internet for the day!
Trump is a symptom of the idiocy of the Kardashian Generation. Between him and Clinton, it shows that the average American can only pick psychopathic ego driven demons.
Nice Homophobic Slur that you represent Bernie with. I'm sure he'd appreciate that.
Many countries have media blackouts
I happen to like the First Amendment. We're not like other countries. I don't want to be like other countries where you can go to jail or be fined for expressing yourself.
The socialism roads that need Dominoes Pizza offering to repair them because socialism can't be bothered fixing the socialistic roads? That socialism?

Taxes, all of them, are regressive. Why does Bernie assume that the government is entitled to what Amazon produces?

If they are "editing" for content, then they are a publisher, then the rules for libel start to apply.
Yes, that was voluntary, not mandated by Government (Rome/Israel)

Ever see a F150 get hit by a dump truck? That's why I drive one! My average Dump Truck is way bigger. Finding parking though is a bitch.
It was partially hyperbole. There is a Catch and Release mentality in California.
