"Then again, killing civilians indiscriminately with drone strikes as "collateral damage" is pretty barbaric as well."
You are an idiot. The entire purpose of drone strikes is to carry out very targeted killings. If we didn't care about collateral damage and didn't mind indiscriminately killing people, expensive drones would not be necessary. All we'd need is some far cheaper cluster bombs. Maybe some napalm.
The main reason for using a single targeted munition is not having to carpet bomb an entire area with multiple aircraft which is a lot more expensive and risky for your guys. The fact you get fewer additional casualties or damage is just a happy bonus.
100 years is relatively recent. I could pull out Salem and the witch trials where people were burnt alive by the hundreds, or before that in Europe by the church etc, Don't get all pissy because it happened. No where in the world is a bastion of righteousness. not even America, as much as you may want it. You want recent atrocities? How about the gunning down and flat out authorised murder of citizens by the police because they 'feel threatened'. Two big cases have been worldwide news recently but that's the tip of the iceberg. I bet those causes just as much pain and suffering to family and friends. Yeah, being burned alive is a horrible, brutal, painful way to go but that doesn't lessen any others.
I think ISIS are ideological crazy bastards. And then I look a the American right, and see equally crazy bastards who want the world to reflect their religion and are more than willing to force their beliefs on power through force.
And then I'm forced to conclude they're really both crazy and delusional, and view their own cause as somehow being different.
Most of the USA does not agree with the American religious right, which is what you are referencing. Most of ISIS does not disagree with ISIS.
Nice, most USAians don't agree with the religious right but most of the religious right do. Most muslims don't tend to agree with ISIS either. Here your equivalents are UASians - Muslims and USA religious right - ISIS. If you want to tar them all with the same brush you're starting from very shakey grounds.
You can almost guarantee if they thought they could get away with it (at least some of) the religious right there(USA) would seriously consider carving themselves out some land, through force of arms most likely because the land is already claimed. Then try and expand that and take in all peoples under their brand of religion to 'save the souls of mankind' and kill everyone who disagrees. Just like ISIS are doing. just like happened in the crusades, just as any religion taken to the extreme is want to do.
Yeah, well call me when John Boehner starts burning people alive and posting it to Youtube.
There was no youtube but don't pretend americans/christains are above burning people to death. Relatively recently too.

Some people need to get over the ridiculous notion that they have the right to force other people deal with their dicks jokes.
Some other people need to get over the ridiculous notion that they have the right to force other people to deal with their inability to handle dick jokes.
The other lock screens that hide the 911 call don't have passwords so basically I'm stuck with either securing my phone or finding that my phone is on the phone with a 911 operator when I pick it up, and she's been listening to my conversation with my friend for the past 2 minutes. Happened a lot.
You could, you know, buy a cheap screen cover. Or find out how every other fucker manages to have a phone in their pocket without dialling the emergency services.
I don't understand why people buy Apple products, no matter if they are good or not I would not go near a company that avoid all standards that exist and do everything to lock in users, sure the others do that also but Apple take it to the extreme, they do not support USB, they don't support MP3 and no video formats beside quicktime, ok, they do support HTML5 but only because they don't have any other choice, but that is pretty much it.
It's remarkably simple really, the devices are pretty and they sell them to idiots.
How does this guy expect them to sell 20-30million a year of these things? I guess he's taking into account the yearly updates when apple would like it very much if you ditched your overpriced gimmick device on your wrist and bought their slightly newer and marginally different but still vastly overpriced piece of crap to replace it. Don't work though, they'll still find room for the logo somewhere, people HAVE to know you're in the cult too.
I never cried free speech? And the so called thought police are very much a thing, just not in any official written in sense. Look at those people that go around getting total strangers sacked for saying slightly racist things on twitter. Oh the company may not want to be associated with that person so they should watch what they say etc. There's your fucking thought police, regardless of the fact most of these people have done noting wrong in a legal sense and I highly doubt broken any clauses of their job contact to warrant an immediate sacking. These 'social justice warriors' that keep getting harped on about on/. seem very much like they would like to be the thought police. No sexist thoughts, no racist thoughts, all the time happy, everyone be nice to everyone, being offended by something is a slight against humanity. It's all a big bunch of shit. If I said something racist to you then you should totally call me on it, point out that it's an idiot thing to say but don't go running to my boss.
If your family is descended from Europe, which is probably is. And wasn't Roman then you can all but guarantee that at some point in time some member or members of your family were property. Slavery wasn't invented for blacks and it certainly isn't gone from this world.
As for TFA? As much as I myself detest racism and bigotry based on someone's religion/ethnicity/etc... Personally, I think they *should* be allowed to be total asshats about it. Seriously - as long as there's no assualt or other crimes against others, let them chant whatever the hell they want.
I say this for two reasons
This a million times. If you're free to be whatever, religion, political system, etc then you should be free to be a racist bigot (religion is basically carte blanch for racism/sexism anyway) until an actual crime has been committed then there should be no actual issue. Chastise the racists for being idiots sure, but leave the thought police out of it.

207,620 people play CS:GO right now (max 463,265, 178 million hours played.)
44,475 plays Team Fortress 2.
19,343 play original Counter Strike.
"could replace"? That's not as replace.
12.55 % of all people who play a game on Steam plays CS:GO right now.
Why not this game? Isn't it the standard for competitive gaming / esport in the FPS area?
I don't know in what way it's superior if anything but I guess people play it because it's the one which matter kinda. Also most media focus, most people who care, maybe good maps, maybe because of investments into customizing ones character, maybe because it's very cheap relative all the money they have put into it and they don't normally purchase games?
He's asking why they would switch to Hardline instead of any of the other CS potential replacements that have been released since. What is so good about hardline that the others lacked. The short answer is nothing, these 'friends' will likely stick to CS.
Summary seems to be missing 2 key points of information. 1)How old are they 2)what do they want. Also citizenship of 3 countries is a bit much don't you think. Especially when one is Belgium. Out of all places in the world why Belguim, the toilet stop of Europe.
Just because they use it more doesn't make them more savvy. The burning video did them more harm than good.

you really hold an organization like ISIS and the US Govt on the same moral equivalency?
i don't care how much you hate the USA, you fail the ability of coherent thought if you think the USA and ISIS are morally the same
You're right, at least ISIS stand by what they believe in.
..."tech unwelcoming to woman" - well, sounds like women need fucking thicker skins....
That statement is unwelcoming. Please hand in your internet card and report to re-education asap. kthanx.

Who's going to buy a $10,000 18k gold Apple Watch that will be obsolete in 6 months?
Who's going to buy a $150K car that is going to lose half its value in three years?
The same people.

I think the main reason Minecraft is so popular with kids is exactly because it's a game that most parents don't understand.
FTFY

Black racism? THAT'S YOUR PROBLEM? Really? Seriously? Kill yourself.
Ohhhhhh, so close.
nobody in my family was ever property.

The US is doing quite well compared to Europe; Europe is imploding.
It really isn't.

They aren't deterred by whether or not the laws they pass are within their power under US law either.
I guess that would be un-American ;)
