How does it mean anything? This is a public network.
If it was just some golf club it wouldn't. This isn't just some golf club anymore though is it. The open ones might be public but that's not to say anything about all the other security issues identified.
Apple doesn't have an "anti american" attitude. It's just capitalism , and the choice is either affordable China/India phones or beyond ridiculous priced local one.
Nah, the choice is either monstrous profits from making in china/india or less but still considerable profits from building in america. It's not hard to figure out why they build shit there.
Seriously, try just treating them equally, no special treatment just because they're women, have the same expectations you would of any man.
In that case, I expect that if a man expressed that he was uncomfortable discussing something in a professional context which was not related to the profession at hand, you would have the basic respect that one should afford another human being and not discuss it — and that you would treat a woman in the same fashion.
Equality is the name of the game, try it, its liberating.
Either you treat both men and women as subhumans, in which case you have nothing to teach me about the way I should treat people, or you in fact treat men and women differently, and are lying to yourself about what you think and how you behave because this preserves your image of yourself as a wise and reasonable individual.
Your first point. Exactly correct. I'm not talking in the context of TFA here, just in general. TFA very much breaks the 1st rule of don't be a dick.
As for your second, I give everyone I meet the same initial respect I would give anyone else and expect of them. It then goes up and down accordingly but where they keep their junk isn't a factor in that. You can treat women with same respect you give children if you want, it really makes no difference to me.
Haha when did I try making it about women's behaviour? Seriously, try just treating them equally, no special treatment just because they're women, have the same expectations you would of any man. Equality is the name of the game, try it, its liberating.
"Reducing the border area of a device." It describes how a mostly-flat display can have a curved border area allowing it to wrap around the sides of the device
Without having seen it doesn't that sound a lot like samsung's thing? I guess it's not copying when apple does it, its bravery.
So you are saying without seeing this thing that Apple is making a copy of Samsung's screen?
I guess that truthieness is alive and well. It sure seems like Apple would rip off Samsung because Apple Lisa and something something, so without me even looking, they obviously ripped off Samsung.
Sounds legit.
Come on man, you can do better than that.
What I'm saying is increasing the screen size isn't a new thing at all in general. Edge to edge folding over? samsung beat them (others have too). Until there're images of the phone no knows exactly what it will look like but I'd imagine just like an iphone with less bevel. Have you seen any of the tv ads for samsung edge 8? Apple doing it is completely different though, is that what you're saying? It's okay for apple to do it too, but they can't really pretend it's new or clever.
Depends on what they've patented, and when. Did they file this before Samsung made their wraparound display? And did Apple file for a broad patent on "any borderless screen", or did they patent a collection of specific methods to achieve a borderless appearance. If they applied for a novel, non-obvious and specific method that is different from Samsung's (or if they filed earlier), then the patent ought to be granted.
If apple had filed before samsung did theirs do you honestly believe apple would let it happen? They already tried to sue the shit out of samsung for a generic description of design so yeah they probably would sue. So unless they've actually come up a new unique way of doing it, but when was the last time apple came out with anything actually new? TFA seems to imply its pretty generic.
This relates to methods and systems for reducing the border areas of an electronic device so as to maximize the display/interactive touch areas of the device. In particular, a flexible substrate can be used to fabricate the display panel and/or the touch sensor panel (referred to collectively herein as a “circuit panel”) of a mobile electronic device so that the edges of the display panel and/or the touch sensor panel can be bent. Bending the edges can reduce the width (or length) of the panel, which in turn can allow the overall device to be narrower without reducing the display/touch-active area of the device.
There's plenty of logic. If you can talk about one non work related subject you can talk about another. Maybe you should actually treat women with the respect they deserve, treat them like adults and not little kiddies and they might surprise you with their resilience. Look, this has got away from what TFA was about so I'm just talking in general, not about creating an atmosphere of any kind. If you don't think women can deal with hearing something they might not like, then maybe you are part of the problem. Stop trying to protect them and let them sort themselves out. Put your cotton wool away, they don't need it and won't be able to get away from it until you do.

Yeah, there's no point converting mp3 to anything other than a smaller lossy format that retains the same quality. I didn't mean to flac specifically, I'd have to rerip for that to be worth anything.
Yeah, I kinda didn't say all that as well as I could have. I didn't mean loudly talking about something with the intention of other people hearing and becoming uncomfortable, that's a dick move. And I didn't mean talking about it with someone who doesn't, that's also a dick move. More just two people talking about a subject the way they would any. I guess my point really was people should be able to deal with overhearing people talk about something that they might not want to and not throw some kind of hissy fit. In my books the only thing that makes for a hostile work environment is hostility. As in workers being hostile to each other, not that some are unable to deal with adult situations in a grown up fashion. None of this is really all that relevant to TFA anymore so forget I said anything lol.
Apple could be in a great position to deprecate MP3 files support, forcing all iGadgets users to buy their songs from their store.
Well that might be a problem if you're in the iGarden. Now they've made you rebuy your wires and headphones they may very well use this to put a mp3 on the chopping block and make you rebuy your music (from them). Out in the rest of the world though, where there's choice it's not really going to be an issue
Yeah but my point was more that lossy/lossless only really comes in after the production has been done. In a conversion sense at least. You can't really lose bits they haven't given you in the first place.
Now. Show me that you were able to do more than break into the equivalent of Starbucks public network.
Do you not think the actual problem is Trump's private retreat has security the equivalent of a starbucks?
How does it mean anything? This is a public network.

HACK THE PLANET!
So flying a drone over someones house is the same as raping them? Riiiiiiiight. Can I have 250 grams of whatever you're smoking?
Of course drones have pilot you numpty. The pilot is just elsewhere.
Elon Musk plans to eat a cathedral? Well...that's a new one, I'm sure it will be good for, oh I dunno, batteries.
Apple phones are consistent, fluid and reliable, get one if you want it to just work.
It just works, except when it doesn't.

"Open the garage doors, HAL."
I'm afraid I can't do that...until you watch this advert.

Without looking, I assume it's curving an OLED screen at the edge in both cases. A feature of OLED that has already been made into a gimmick on TVs.
But that's apple for you, talking something old and pretending its new.

No, but more like any recent Samsung phone (read: newer than four years).
What did they call those edge to edge ones again? Oh yes, edge. lol
Does it describe vague idea or method to achieve desired result?
ha ha don't be dense.

No, I've heard of less is more, but equal is equal. Or is it like a more equal than others kind of deal?
Your sex talk has nothing to do with my job, why should I be required to expend the effort to withstand your distraction?
I dunno, same I reason I should have to drown out people talking about the latest episode of cop drama or whatever.

To be perfectly honest the RIAA have nothing to do with it. They might to think all music belongs to them but it really doesn't.
