would the problem be that apple has one file called macosxinstall and one called windowsinstall.exe (dunno exact file name) but if it were to develop for linux it would need mandrakeinstall, redhatinstall, suseinstall, debianinstall.deb, etc etc etc???

fifteen different glibc's, gnome's, kde's, etc to support?

tis a question!!! not bagging linux or anything (--- disclaimer for cranky linux zealots hehe)

seriously.... quicktime for linux would be good.

even if they did a deal with qt so they could write once to distribute on win/mac/lin would be cool! :)
