    In some respects, it's worse than my old flip phone.

    I can't see it in sunlight. I cannot feel the keys. I cannot just open it to answer. It's bigger, and more expensive.

    Lots more issues with China. For example, China is driving animals into extinction by paying poachers for things like elephant tusks, and rhino horns.

    I could go on. Environmental issues are not high priorities with China.

    Coast to coast is all highway driving. Still impressive, but I would think that getting around in a congested city would be more challenging.

    On the highway you have no bicyclists, or dogs, jumping in front of you. No traffic lights, no stop signs. Nobody running stop signs or traffic lights.

    Sadly, when Linux apps start requiring systemd, the BSDs will be nearly useless. It will happen, we all know it.

    As it is:

    FreeBSD has no dropbox client.

    You cannot count on FreeBSD to run the latest version of LibreOffice, or anything else. Often, Linux apps will not run at all.

    Not as many drivers as Linux, but that is less of a problem.

    For now, at least, FreeBSD might make a good server.
