There was some sci-fi book, about the near future, where all the politicians were selected through LOTTERY. For a limited period of time. Only one term. I thought, what a funny idea.....but is it really funny?
This is very bad, i really really love NVIDIA video cards, and their GPUs, and i was hoping of buying one of there super-computers some time soon...... one more giant down.
In fact, this is classic case of conflict of interests. When you allow the cable company (witch means only the cable, and nothing else) to have also internet and tv in his portfolio, the result is MONOPOLY, as it is right now with Rogers, Bell, Telus. And btw, do you know that THE BIG 3 right now are trying to lobby a bill, which will allow them to NOT loan their new optic cables to the rest of the world? Do you know what will happen with all the competition if this bill becomes fact?
First, it was 60GB limit, then it became 25GB limit, and now they are going to downgrade it to 15GB? WTF? Btw, i did switch to teksavvy, with lower price, and with the surprising 200GB limit, lol. And you, ROGERS, you just go to hell. And just one interesting gossip, the actual price for unlimited access is actually $19/month. Rogers Lite will cost you over $40/month (because of some "extras" and don't forget the new HST=13%)
It will be very interesting to see if BP has the same sound safety procedures for the rest of his drills (no pun intended).... No matter the result, it will be very interesting article.
But they are doing it, they are the good guys. It is their saying that no book should be more than $9.99, not the ridiculous $16 or $26 for the same book!!!!
At last, the trend is turned, and is going fast in the right direction. Who wanna to keep 1000 "normal" books in his house??? (1000 is the number of books that i bought during my still short life)
It is pretty simple, if you wanna to sell 100-200 devices, then you just buy the ARM-CPU from another manufacturer. But if you wanna to sell 1-2 millions, then you will save a lot of money by simply buying the right to make the hardware and if you are good enough, even the right to change/modify it. From what i remember, the starting price for this scenario is $200k, which explains why there are so few companies willing to have this kind of agreement.
They (NVIDIA) say that you could have a very cheap supercomputer for just $10k, made with Nvidia GPUs only. Pretty impressed achievement, and btw they also say that their GPUs are in fact faster that the normal, Intel/AMD CPUs. I don't know about you, but once my piggy bank is full, i will get one of these super-computer monster.
Like what? You are too smart or you are too stupid for this position? Is there going be some search engine like this: Find me employee with biology aptitude score between 123 and 143? (now you should really be very scared)
There is a saying the scientist are usually very bad with the natural languages and literacy (so called human oriented areas..). And they are right, i was such a boy, but some decades later, i am also pretty proficient in these alien for my mind areas, and in some cases i am even better than the others. In fact, there is ever better example of how wrong is this whole idea: boys and girls. It is proven that as a teenager, the girls are better than boys in every area, but later, the trend is in favor for the boys (or men?).
I play Warcraft 3, but i dont play WoW, simply because of this subscription monthly fee. I prefer to play some of the other free MMORPG, for free, no subscription fee, and if i like some very special weapon then and only then i put some little amount of money, and continue my free ride trough the game. This is sound model for me, not this ridiculous "Pay Or Watch Ads" stupid greedy idea. Just forget it. Really, whats next, "Starting Notepad with ADS, or PAY to remove them"? And believe me, if this happens, i will drop my dual boot system and move entirely to Ubuntu or Fedora for example, or maybe even BeOS.
I have my Ovi Maps, and it is completely free. No hidden costs, no fine print. And i have downloaded all the maps on my 8GB microSD. Trough my PC. Of course, there are still some strange glitches, but who does not?
I kinda of disagree with you. The funny thing is that this "cheap" laptop that you have in USA, is not so cheap anywhere else.... funny, ain't? And there is no reasonable reason for such a discrepancy.

Don't you know? If there is no war, then regarding the law, the army has to be discharged. So, as usual, the trick is always to have some war.
Did you forget that GTA only has about 7 million people? Yep, you are right, it is only 23% of Canadians, not a big deal, right?
I used to have the same bills. Go to teksavvy.

Did you try Delphi? In fact, the first RAD, and also the best.
And i have the same problem with java/C++, and btw, the inventor of C++ standard says so.....So, why do we continue to produce Java/C++ bloatware???

Maybe he was with the princess....doing The Force only knows what, lol
Remember Einstein? He was very stupid in math and physics, regarding his teachers of course...

I like to eat apples, is this making me an apple-hater or apple-lover?

Regarding the law, you don't buy anything, but just borrowing it.....for awhile.
No, you don't. Pure, clean water is poison for you.
