Can't stand when people start up inane conversations with me. 'Course, I'm not comfortable talking with folks all that much to begin with. Some of us just really like to be left alone.
Seems like every time I go out to microsoft.com for a driver, it's popping up a new silverlight install ad. I've installed it multiple time but it keeps coming back. I guess that's one way to generate d/l numbers.
Isn't that money being spent on stuff made in the U.S. and paid out to U.S. citizens and workers? It's not a free cash dispersal but this way, it's getting spread among a lot of vendors and suppliers as well as the folks at NASA.
Had the fuel line nicked by the fan blade on my '72 RS Nova. Happened just as I pulled up to a 7-11. All this white mist/smoke came out from under the hood, I turned off the car, got out and opened up the hood.
Whoosh!
Nothing like nice cloud of fuel suddenly igniting. It burned itself out but I was enough to fry my eye brows/eye lashes.
So yeah, Nova's can be kinda' bright. Not so much the drivers, though.
Love living in the country, with 40 acres (not mine but various family members) between me and the neighbors. A buddy tried to get me to go with him for a week up to NYC and man, the idea of being around all those people really through me for a loop. Couldn't go. Is weird how different people are, I guess.
In between one of the 2004 hurricanes that hit Florida, I found a map showing various types of natural disasters for the U.S. In central New Mexico, there's a spot that only has 'small likelihood of vulcanism' covering it. That's where we've moved. Nice thing is the elevation. No fleas, ticks, fire ants, mosquitos, and cockroaches. Worst thing we have to deal with are the damn foxtail grasses. They're giving the dogs and goat some trouble this year. About the heat, was 58Â F this morning and raining. It might break 85Â F by July but that's about it. Last year's winter; got down to the single digits sometimes but only got a few inches of snow at a time.
Oh yeah, all the land out here's been built on and no one's selling any houses so no one else can move out here. Just a heads up.
I flunked out of my community college. Twice. Took three tries to pass College Algebra I, as well. Eventually, I retook all those courses and then went on to art school where I dropped out to fix computers. College isn't for everyone.
Back then, allergies were typed on wrist bands on patients' arms. Not quite as up-to-date and it did take a human to actually pay attention (doctors where sometimes pretty out of there, looking at big picture). As a medic, we weren't responsible for prescription process but they had us checking patient's info and reporting it to the RN's (who also checked this stuff). Military likes it's redundancy and backup.
I was an EMT and LPN in the Air Force, back in late 80's and worked 2 years in military and VA hospitals. While there were computerized records, the actual treatment notes stayed on a clipboard that was on the end of the patient's bed. Any pre-existing issues were also noted there.
The dangers of treatment without prior records sounds pretty tenuous. I wonder if this has more to do with the dangers of not being able to bill 'accurately'? Nicest thing about working in a socialized medical system (military medicine is set up as such) was not having to worry about every nickel and dime. Doctors I spoke with liked it, even though they were paid a lot less than they would be in civilian practice. They didn't have to worry about office expenses, insurance, etc. and didn't have HMO's second guessing their work and suggesting cost-saving measures.
Um, my dog, yeah, dog, she gets loose a lot and I wonder if there's some kind of tracking device she can carry that I can track using linux based tools.
If we can put a man on the moon (or could, at one time), I say that now is the time to have brothel libraries (and librarians, of course). We do not do this because it is hard... um, ok, actually, we do do this because it is hard.

Octopussi?
I was thinking of maybe a chair and a whip. That should be enough to keep the Earth at a distance.
Write up the button pushing process part of it, get that filed and then claim prior art?
The hard part is when the ground keeps chasing after you. Once I figure out a way to disabuse the ground of the notion of following me, I'll be set.

Aaaaaaugh! People. Everywhere!

Why?
What about the $99 Walmart iPhone rumors have out there. Imagine would be positioned similarly as the Nano iPod.
That's because your mind is still constrained by our 2D universe.
I think boobs (NSFW) disprove the 2D universe.
If the book was two keyboards end-to-end, would be really difficult to fit in backpack.
Would be really cool if the Police got back together. That's my theory.
FffffffUuuuuu!
How else could the Buffalo Girls come out at night if they didn't have flying buffalos to ride?

I knew a girl like that in high school. At least, that's what other guys said she'd do but she never wanted to go out with me. Still, D&D was fun.

The Happy Lil' Elves Magic Forest Company is still a viable provider of onsite security and defense. Don' let their name fool you.

I prefer the German MP5 player.
You're iNsane.
