This coming from the person that says they should be banning stuff that you disagree with? Irony, perhaps you should look up the definition. You just laid out a giant heaping pile of it.
Your viewpoint is hateful to me, it should be censored. Hurry up and delete your account post-haste so we can solve this little problem. And I know right off the bat you'll disagree that your viewpoint is hateful, but guess what happens when it's so easily turned back on you.
Well I didn't grow up in the US, so that doesn't apply. The bill of rights has never held any sway for me, I live in a country where speech can be limited by law. Oh and that country? It's Canada. People are furious because the entire idea of banning subreddits like this goes against the core premise of reddit. I'll be Aaron Swartz is spinning in his grave.
There's some screenshots sitting around on/r/pcmasterrace showing the 980ti, the ram chips are hitting 100C, so yeah using HBM to deal with not only heat but transfer speed is going to make a huge difference.
Correction, a safe space is where they only allow particular kinds of speech. And anything that might hurt someones feelings is bad speech, it's the same BS that's going on in universities.
Pile of BS. They've even come out saying they have no evidence, not even reports. But anyone who's been paying attention already knows that they're out for particular subs and groups of people that "don't fit with what they want" otherwise they'd have banned SRS and SRD, as well as banning all the mods and previous mods like they did with FPH.
I'm sure there's a reason why FPH1/2/3/4/5/6/etc and publichealthawareness were banned as well...I'll bet 'ban evasion' works well for a reason, I mean it's not like admins when they've quit somehow magically become mods of SRS and SRD...
It isn't censorship. If they want to spout their fathate somewhere, they can build their own site. As far as I'm concerned, the current measures don't go far enough. There are still subreddits like coontown, skinnypeoplehate, cuteabortions, etc. Repulsive.
So why is SRS still there? Hell why are there two sets of rules? Here's an example, Kotakuinaction was told they couldn't run any email campaigns with direct links to email or physical addresses. But what happens not even a week out? Not only do other subs keep doing it, but admins were doing it. Sorry, they're going out of their way to create a hug box, much like you want. Here's an idea though, you don't like it--ignore it.
But as for saying it's not censorship? You bet it is. Maybe you can explain why/r/neofag was banned while we're at it, after all, neofag is a play on neogaf. Banning comments, discussion boards, etc., because they hurt your feelings or banning users so they don't know they're banned is the shitty way of dealing with something.
And neither console can do native 1080p, but either 720p or 960p upscaled. They haven't even reached where we were 8 years ago in terms of graphics, that should be telling you something. Also remember that the current generation of consoles...are PC's, massively underpowered PC's.
Gaming 'has' to be windows? Who knew, obviously all those people using 'nix are doing so by fairy dust.
Citation needed. Pre-orders are not available in the US so we have no official prices. Canada shows the PC/PS4/XB1 versions at the same price. and PC gamers can't "already get it" the game isn't even released yet.
Greenmangaming use the promo codes listed on the site or via their reddit page, anywhere between 20-30% off depending. You seem to be rather but hurt that PC gamers can already pre-order it.
Most F2P crap IS worthless.
Really? Better let Blizzard know.
You mean Piracy.
No I mean legal games, but it's sure nice to try making some BS to make yourself feel better.
No such thing..."Someone" still owns the copyright, even if they aren't enforcing it. It's still piracy.
I know you're a master-race sort of guy and are thusly severly biased but not for $450 it won't, and it it will run Windows, which comes with it's own issues.
Yeah, actually it will. What? You're shocked that consoles built on hardware that's already two years out of date will be beat by a previous hardware generation? It'll run windows? Gee, why do all those builds have no OS as a requirement. I mean it's like a mac where you can't install another OS unless you pay them to do it right? And of course forget about modifying the OS on your console.
Yeah yeah, we all know PC gamers are cheap bastards and euro-pirates. Wasting money on hardware and not wanting pay for software. So they play some F2P FPS or MOBA and play a single map like de_dust or the Warehouse over and over and over or they mod some single player game and play that for 10 years and buy nothing else.
Yeah, since we know that console piracy is rampant, and we can buy exactly the same games at half the price. What? Did you miss the FO4 announcement, where consoles will be paying $59.99-79.99, and PC gamers can already get it at $40 or there about.
Well since they give you other things besides the multiplayer, you're technically paying for those. I'd have a PS+ subscription even if I didn't play multiplayer the instant game collection is worth the $49.95 a year.
Well, I guess the hundreds of free games on the PC are worthless then, and of course we can't forget the wide amount of emulation either, or thousands of abandonware titles out there. After all, you're paying $50/year, and likely going to be getting another credit card next week(just a guess), since Sony's security is at 1999 levels, but I guess if you have to spend 8 minutes searching for legal free games, that's too difficult.
Really? Can you tell me where they pushed out the unofficial patch packs and so on. Well we already know they didn't, because there's no way to mod on consoles or fix problems like that. Then again, I suppose if you want to use a console and get taken to the cleaners it's all up to you. But let me point out that a $450 PC built today will crush both consoles in terms of graphics alone, and let you mod, play MP games, and not charge you for it.
I'm on teksavvy as well, but on cable. So no IPv6 for me, people keep saying that rogers is working on it, my guess? Sometime around 2020 rogers will have rolled out IPv6 for general use, even though my 3 year old modem supports it.
Yeah, that would be a mistaken impression. FYI all guns are dangerous thus you treat them with respect and due diligence, the hysteria over 'omg pistol grips = weapons of death hysteria' however is the problem. Or to make it simpler, an irrational fear of guns.
Unfortunately it works the way the money says it does. I wouldn't be surprised if the Canadian government suddenly sees the light and is persuaded to enforce criminal charges on VPN streamers. After all, who knows what other dirty little tricks they are getting up to on their VPNs. They're probably all terrorists anyway.
Won't happen, it's a violation of s.2 of the Charter. On top of that this would fall into the realm of the CRTC, and the CRTC has been slapping Bell around for the last few months.

Sandboxes are so 1998. Just ask Adobe and Java.
The chance of Hillary getting elected is about as good as me becoming a US citizen in the next 8 seconds.
If wee keep burning shit at the current rate for another 10 or 20 years, we are game, say the most recent researches.
And they've been saying that since the 1970's, that along with "we're going to run out of oil." And it's always "10 or 20 years in the future."
And neither console can do native 1080p, but either 720p or 960p upscaled. They haven't even reached where we were 8 years ago in terms of graphics, that should be telling you something. Also remember that the current generation of consoles...are PC's, massively underpowered PC's.
In the pre-9/11 days, I never had my scrotum stroked.
Look on the bright side, you don't have to give a reach around.

Yeah, there is such a thing.
I could say the same about Valve:
And that's why there's been no confirmed cases of people having their CC numbers used, while Sony gave away a year of identity theft protection right?
Maybe you should spend less money on hardware, then maybe you could actually...buy games.
Yeah that's pretty funny, perhaps you mean I already spend less money on games and in turn can buy more hardware.
I know you're a master-race sort of guy and are thusly severly biased but not for $450 it won't, and it it will run Windows, which comes with it's own issues.

Don't play games on a console, install bug fix packs on the PC. Problem solved.
Dice Incorporated(all the garbage that's fit to post) of course. You didn't think this was still /. did you?
Sounds about right, then again we might see action against the big incumbents for being so dirt slow from the CRTC first.

Nope, manuals, boxes all that stuff? It's done about 3-5 months before the game copies are produced. That's the easy stuff.
It's about a month from stamping to distribution to stores, that's not very long.
Well IW was scaled down because of consoles, not PC's so you're helpfully proving my point.
