Is 10hrs enough? I got my copy in late last night, sat down played. Not happy with any of the changes, the biggest things that piss me off? Repeated level designs. Using the same levels, over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over. And the cheap ass method of dealing with bosses. Meaning, you start fighting a boss. And kill off his spawns, then the game spawns, more of them, and keeps spawning them. It's a cheap way to make content hard.
You can turn around and spend 10mins on google, and find the articles, plus news stories of people who work both for the french police and ems services stating that they're no-go zones. Don't worry, if you don't believe me or not. I mean the US only went through ghettoization once, or twice. And it was of a different sort, if you can't see the writing on the wall, don't blame me in 10 years.
If you want to get into a theological discussion, and understand something you should have some idea and basis behind the original statements in question. I sure wouldn't jump into a discussion on the advents of nanotech, and the why's and hows of things. While rambling wildly off into the distance about something I know nothing about.
Well my GF is a avid RPG player, and enjoys cRPG's on the side. She got home oh an hour or two ago. Installed, starting playing 30ish mins in she was raging and screaming going where are my choices and what's up with this shitty dialog. I want a RPG, not a action-adventure game. Which promptly 5mins later resulted in her storming out of the house, and driving off game in hand. I think she's out for a refund, and woe to the person who tries to refuse it.
I know people will go bahwhaha GF what? Yeah some of us managed to hook one anyway.
I didn't even have a chance to play, but I'm hearing a lot of people use the phrase "Dragon the Mass Age Effect". Which doesn't bode well, and I get the feeling EA has given Bioware the touch of death.
Just because I feel like posting it again you can look here: http://www.danielpipes.org/blog/2006/11/the-751-no-go-zones-of-france and again, the other links to the french version are listed in the article. Don't drown in the PCness when reading the french stuff(if you can read french anyway).
Tip: Islam is around ~1700 years old give or take. It has the same foundation as the duo of religions(christianity and judaism). If you can't figure out where a foundation is laid, and when a religion is formed. You have no chance of understand anything I've said.
I enjoy rounding up because islams foundation starts with the old duo of religions(christianity and judaism). You gotta figure that it's foundational roots started around 1700 years ago for islam itself. And while you don't understand what is or to make of a typical muslim, you only need to see what's going on, in the purported moderate nations, that politicians enjoy using as 'proof' of moderate. Indonisia and Malaysia, mass religious muders, forced marriages, religious persecution of non-muslims. Attacks against women for not being covered head to toe, and that happy list keeps going on with violent attacks such as targeting other religious leaders and womens schools, and burning out non-muslim families.
Then we can pop over to europe. Those are documented fairly well, including the enclaves in france and norway where EMS will no longer go because they'll be attacked. They're not ethnic enclaves, they're religious enclaves, where they have their own rule of law, inside the rule of law.
This isn't exactly ground breaking, earthshattering stuff. Rather it's what's been going on for the last ~2000 years.
I honestly agree with most of what you say on that. But the reality isn't religion for the most part. Then again islam hasn't changed in nearly 2000 years unlike Christianity and Judaism. Both had several reformation, several branch splits and so on. Both also turned around and decided that there were different interprertations in 'gods word', and the book isn't a full 'word of god and final' but rather is meant to be interpreted and that holds true even in a lot of orthodox segements.
Islam itself? Well if you're not the right type of muslim, you should die. If you slander the word, die. If you want to leave, die. And it's not a small minority that believes it either. The small minority are those who don't hold those beliefs. But really you make a comment about cartoons and writing novels? Hell, there's more published novels coming out of Ebonia then from the entire muslim group of nations. That should be a fine indicating pointer of where this is going.
Whelp people can realize it or not, but islams war against the 'west' hasn't ended in 2000 years. It's gotten quieter but that's about it.
They're returned to 'purity' the next day so you can cause them pain and suffering again, and again, and again. Just like you did in life! Awesome stuff huh?
Depending on where you live in Canada, yes we are actually low-income especially when you figure that between 30-52% of your wages are gone in taxes. On the EC this is very apparent especially with the lack of any solid industry of any kind. In Ontario/Quebec it's hit or miss. Out west less so, but the cost of goods is unbelievably high(whooo $4/loaf of bread, $9-15 for a gallon of milk). You're looking at somewhere between 42k and 52k as the median wage. And 25% of our population lives at or below the poverty line with income(about 30k).
Dollar parity aside right now, ~25 years of keeping our dollar below parity with the US worked well for us. Not so much now.
Really the biggest complaint I have with SSD's right now are either mobo/chipset manufactures. Or with the people writing the ACHI drivers, and not checking for compatibility. I ran into a lovely bug with my Vertex series(though it applies to nearly all and randomly) drive, it involves suspend and recovery states and a badly written driver.
When the drive is put into a suspend or sleep state, and you 'wake' the PC up, the drive will randomly lock down the road. And even if it doesn't lock, on a reboot the SSD may not be accessible, in either the BIOS or by any normal detection means. The solution is one of those low to medium arcane recovery methods. Either fully power don the PC and hope, if you can see it in the BIOS you may need to overwrite the entire SSD. It may also require a hot plug, followed by a reboot to access the drive. In the worst case, the SSD may need to be RMA'd because the end consumer doesn't have the tools to fix the problem.
I do like them, but some people need to be beat to death for making stupid mistakes.
Too bad environmentalists disagree with you. Nuclear reactors are bad! They spew radiation(never mind the cosmic rays tearing holes through your body)! They're just bad! Skip the common sense stuff, anything nuclear is bad(ignore that giant sun).
Thanks wingnut environmentalists, you really do want us to be back in the stone age don't you?
Seriously. We have a better and more stringent method for copy protection, and piracy. But we're evil or something. Must be because the 'gov' decided that downloading music isn't evil, or piracy if it's for personal use.
Well that's okay, I don't listen to the shit they have on the radio.
Yes. It all depends on whether or not the chain of evidence is corrupted. Policing isn't like the movies where 'data' shows up and people go WHOO! Get the DA, lay dem charges! WHOOO!
Probably because they know that the future trend of virii/rootkits/malware will attack EFI. Which means that some type of protection out of the gate will be a good idea.
Here's why, it may not seem like much. But this is all shit you can put on your resume or CV or whatever you call it. If it's related to your field, people find it interesting that you use your free time to better yourself by going to conferences, or doing things to expand your knowledge. This is important stuff if you want to find a job, well anywhere these days. Unless of course you're at the top of your class. Then it really doesn't matter.
In my case, the 5 pages of public events/volunteer work/law seminars were very important to my employer, it showed that not only was I doing things on my own time. But I was doing things and accepting different PoV's on various legal issues.
Ah that's okay. If someone wants to read my porn spam emails, and other random dumped crap to my gmail account they're welcome to it. I only use my 2 gmail accounts for 2 things. One to keep in touch with guildies and friends from WoW, when I quit. And the other is my/. account dump where I get flames from insane people usually questioning my american view on the world. If the person is important, they get a good email address from my domain.
Man I should just put my.sig as 'wtf, canadian not american you dirty hippie'
That's odd. I seem to remember Bush getting railed all the time for just about anything, including gas prices in the US. Obama seems to be living the easy life, with no tough questions, or even worrying about world issues(not that there's a shortage). Personally to an outsider, who pays attention to US news, this all reeks of media whitewashing their favorite kid, because well he can do no wrong. Unlike that other guy, who ended up not being as bad as everyone thought.
Oh I'm sure people will be frothing at the mouth at that, but if you're so blinded by partisan ideology that you can't see it. You should be reviewing not only the news you watch, but how it's presented to you.
Sounds like it. If it's one thing I don't miss from the old 9x and Win3.x days is everything being stored in text files. Sure it was easy to find and edit something(with a basic text editor), even in DOS. It was an organizational nightmare if you wanted to do something else like reference something in another non-hived registry(I mean random text file).
The current registry system has it's faults, and hive registries can nuke the OS because of corruption really easily. But right now? Much easier to work with, at least until someone has a brain wave and comes up with a better system.
Generally cops only get training once or twice in their entire careers for using a radar gun, with re-certifications every year or two(pointing a radar gun isn't that difficult). Gun calibrations should be done everyday or every week depending on the size of the department and the internal policies. And this all should be noted on the record of service. Meaning, when it's taken out of service, and noted on the record of service card that goes out with the gun. And any issues(if any) that there were with the gun.
It wasn't so much of challenging the training, and calibration as the judge in this case taking a very poor view of the officers poor record keeping for his duty book(this is all stuff you're supposed to note in your duty book and be prepared for). Something that at least in the police colleges here in Canada, they drill into your head is 'your life, and as such part of your credibility'. If you don't know(or remember) when you last had x training(that should be noted in your 'note' section of your duty book). When you get an item for patrol duty, it should be noted in your duty book, along with the serial number(if any, or unique identifiers) along with any notes on the service record. And so on and so on.

I'd call it closer to triple dipping. They got years of cassette fees, years of CD fees, and fees from other sources. Fuck'em.
No. But it sure does make for some serious kick-ass propaganda about the evil whites trying to kill the blacks, and make them sterile.
I'm sure it'll be woven into something close to if not that soon.
Of course not. Just like most games today don't use DirectX and 'nix has okay to piss poor emulation of it.

Let me reply with "Yes."
