But, the non-confidence vote was removed when the anti-terrorism laws were passed. Sorry, time to pay more attention to the fine print in them laws my friend.
The Priminister is elected by the number of seats held by each party. It boils down that canada is a socialist country with a dictatorship style goverment.
Fall in line or loose your seat come to mind. We know what's best for the canadian public, not you. We are above and beyond the law. CISIS is your friend, don't cross the line after all they are above and beyond the law. That's a simple bit.
Too much concentration of power at the top here, and the C32 bill with the massive increases in levies shows this all too well. A levy of $21/GB for MP3 players with HDD's?
I think I'll start demanding my levy monies back when I buy CDR's now. Otherwise I'll follow the logic of another poster, since I'm paying a levy I have paid to copy already.
Best take a look at the CRTC website. Or if your feeling lazy I suggst this website showing the atypical pillageing by a private company chargeing taxes.
The US is a Representive Republic, which means that the goverment tries to figure what's best for the public and does it. Even tho the public has the right to say the goverment is wrong and change their thoughts on it. Demand public hearings, court challenge's, ect.
In Canada; we have a Socialist Dicatorship. This means that the goverment decides what's best for you and does it. And if you don't like it, you can go screw yourself. You can write all the letters, protest all you want but the goverment doesn't even have to entertain your point of view or even listen to you.
I know your probbly going to say but it's like that here. And my response is, do you have an easy way to remove political leaders from power? You say Yes. And I say, in Canada they are in power until the next election, unless they die or they leave.
You'll have to excuse me, I think that's CISIS knocking at my door. Oh you do know that we have a police force here that's not accountable to anyone and is compleatly above the law right?
While these custom watches are, the idea and principals themself are not. Nor is this a new fad or anything else, I still have a mechanical watch from 1955, that requires no winding.
Funny enough, it's a Timex. It was my grandfathers, and I still wear it. After 20 years in the foundry of grit, grime, grunge, and other assorted toxic chemicals, it still works as good as the day he bought it.
I won't be surpised if this is moderated as redundant. If you feel it is, reply. It's easy to moderate, wiser to reply with something witty or intellegent.

I suppose it's not too surpising or anything. This either proves that people in genearal are not complete idiots, or that they've finally had enough with the big compaines trying to dictate what they can and cannot do with media that they own.
It's really an old idea, and I was wondering when someone would get around to useing them on PC's and what not.
I have a couple of "hot water" based radial coolers from the 1930's made from cast, really huge things to tell you the truth and must weigh 300 pounds but I'll tell you something boy that that sucker heat up a house.
Took me along time to find some and no one wanted to manufacture it, but I do have a boiler(oil) in my house and that thing heats 2 large rooms very nicely.
Really? I thought censorship involved anything that restricted the truth from the masses. In which case the news papers and whatnot are guilty as sin in canada.
Ooh I know that one. I once was talking with a NASA engineer, his motto was: Never trust anyone in the software industry that doesn't understand hardware.
Good point, tho I can't remember if copper and silicon in their current manufactureing forms can be used as a superconductor. Also, when you get something down that cold without proper resistances, remember that the GPU's and CPU's are manufactured to spec for voltage impeadance as well. Running at stock voltage, at super cold tempatures could burn them out as well. Maybe someone with more time and money then myself can look into this.
To tell the truth, as it stands now canada is worse off in a political sense then the states and brits. The states has a balance of powers, with checks and balances. Canada has a PM with almost dictorial powers.
The party line in canada is; Do what the party tells you or be kickd out of office. But for lawful access as scary as it seems they are having public discussion on it right now, I know this for the simple fact I've been been at several meetings about it already. Regardless of the "good face" the goverment here will do what it wants regardless of what the people want.
Is it really paranoia when the goverment is trying to force ISP's under the proposed "lawful access bill" to record all your e-mails, and make a list of everyone that's online?
Actually it is a step towards bigbrother. Slashdot already posted the bit, about the canadian goverment wanting to have a database of all internet users, as well as recording all their e-mails.
Ahh well there could be something there. I would suggest asking the works dept. if they use floride, I've heard in some cities that's what it tastes like. In others there is no taste at all, apparently it has something to do with the concentration. I'm no expert on it, and I might be compeatly off base on that.
I suppose I could clairfy. They do put other things in the water to mask it. Koolaid, Tang, ect. I have tasted several diffrent kinds of amphetamine's, and I've also tasted the spiked water they sell. You couldn't taste it but, that was because it was made very sweet and shown as an "energy boosting drink". And unless you actually know what it tastes like, besides a "supposed" energy drink you wouldn't know.
An example, you have a glass of tea. But the tea kind of stings your tounge, it's listed as an energy boosting tea but; doesn't have any ingrediants. What's in it? Maybe ginger, maybe something else.
Just let me be clear, I'm not saying that they are all bad guys spikeing the water, but some are. And you have to becareful, especially since they didn't at one time get inspected for selling food or anything else. They may now, but it's been 6mo since I was last in Korea.
That many of the internet cafe's there are known for spikeing the water and whatnot. Amphetamine spikeing is common to keep customers in the stores longer and whatnot. There have been several deaths related to this over the last few years.
Also a goverment crackdown has been done once, as you can see...it hasn't made much of a diffrence.
This was originaly done as far as I can remember back in Subspace(a great game). Originaly made by Virgin Interactive, ad's from almost anyone was show in the gameing screen backgrounds.
"There are no stupid questions. However, there are stupid people who ask questions."
Actually there are, and there are not. I would assume on the hand though, that someone who has a use number below 30,000 would understand the words monopoly, unfair, and content control.
But as they say, you know what assumeing gets you.:)
I don't give a rats ass about spelling.

As I said, a bunch of sheep.

Time will tell, but if he does it will more then likely be censored or cleaned up by the marketdroids.
Please post a response as soon as you have one from AMI.

We would already have seen a drop in the cost of SCSI drives. The IDE->SCSI adapters have been around atleast four years that I can remember.
We would only see a drop in price if this caught onto the main stream, no way else.

How is locking up people who B&E or tresspass restricting freedom of the press? As far as I'm concerned breaking the law such as that is acceptable.
Really? I thought censorship involved anything that restricted the truth from the masses. In which case the news papers and whatnot are guilty as sin in canada.

Hmm...nah I would be more worried about the interconnects and silicon inside the GPU and CPU to tell the truth.
Lead as it stands works really well as long as it doesn't get too hot. Thermal impeadance with cold means it will soak up more juice tho.
Just a couple of random thoughts.

I've been saying things like this for years.

Nope I thought not, it's reality.
