For some reason there's no option to report this post, so I'll have to settle for telling this a/c to take a long walk off a short cliff. Fuck off, troll.
Oh do fuck off. Pim Fortuyn wasn't some some saviour and he wasn't popped by the "establishment" now was he? "Deep state" - seriously, time to take off the tin foil hat, pal.
On _forms_ (eg when entering the country, or various forms for citizens) - it's not on the KSA passport, nor Israeli, and I've not seen a Pakistani passport so I legitimately didn't know. Goalposts firmly in place, mofo.
In Saudi Arabia if you were there as a resident and put Islam there's a chance you may be held to that eg "encouraged" to go the mosque etc. For sure, some friends who were legitimately Muslim (although generally quite secular) were called out if they didn't regularly attend prayers.(source - I lived there in the 80s/90s). I suspect other theocracies may act in the same way.
If you were a citizen you _were_ Muslim - KSA does not allow its nationals practice another religion. Apostasy carries the death penalty (although this hasn't been carried out for a few years, only LONG prison terms and probably torture too).
In Israel it determines who you can marry (only if the ceremony is performed in Israel, because there are basically ONLY religious marriages performed by the Rabbinate/Muslim or Christian religious bodies). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marriage_in_Israel
No, in the case of Brexit voters itâ(TM)s pretty clear a proportion were mislead and a proportion were / are straight up ignorant, more than the usual percentages.
Also as a European, I do fully understand that if a heavily armed team like a SWAT team is sent in, they will be expecting a certain situation. Now, the question is, why were they and not a nomal police unit sent in on the basis of one call? (I'm not saying there wasn't a reason, just thinking out loud.) I agree that the US and other places have issues with police using excessive force but in this case their actions were the result of a multitude of contributory factors. Highly armed response units like this are trained to shoot because generally that's what they need to do.
Fuck right off. If you're a white hetero male then every day is your day. I say this as one myself - we don't need a day because, fuck me, we don't need to struggle for anything as a population group. Man, whiny people who are part of the establishment (whether they see it or not) really annoy me. Pipe down!
Stop obfuscating the role that Europeans / European Americans had in the slave trade. A machine has many parts, sure, but you're making a false equivalence.
The statues thing - the term "these people" - wtf? Also no one is trying to rewrite history. People are, quite rightly, saying that monuments to specific people who did specific horrible things be removed. I've no problem with that, not sure why you do.
Works well and is cost-effective. If my other half and I go into London from where we live in the suburbs, it's invariably cheaper to drive and pay out the nose for parking than it is to get the train. Not a few pence cheaper - around double the cost. And we're not far from London at all; we're in the commuter belt.
As someone who grew up in an Arab country still technically at war with Israel, and with a passport filled with Arabic stamps, I had a very courteous experience with El Al security both at LTN and TLV. Maybe it's because I've flown in and our of JED (and RUH) 50+ times, and I'm used to Saudi security, I didn't find the folks at Ben Gurion too bad at all. Always very polite.
The story above sounds a bit fishy as well - a little bit too horrible for an international travel experience.
Watch the blood pressure there, grandpa! It's once a year. It's kitsch. It's funny. If you don't like it, it's what, 1 article to skip? :-) :-)
Good catch, my bad!
It's not really reached critical mass tho, I literally know 0 people IRL who are on a Mastodon instance.

Edge! I should be so lucky where I work... still on IE11!
Oh ffs I meant I didn't know - not that I didn't believe you.

Good to know, I know some ME nations ask for it on forms too, Israel has it on some ID systems. But I'd wager the vast majority of nations don't...
Which country puts religion on passports? Maybe Iran? Probably not...
I suspect you've had your edits pulled because you're a racist fuckwit, not because of "the evul libruls."

LOL fwiw I'm there too.
Oh you're from the UK. Much of the UK is a shit waste of time... well, at least 52% of it...
It's a cultural capital and the sights are well worth it. "shit and a waste of time" is a little harsh.
Hahah I was waiting for the "Israeldidit" reply. smh...
Slashdot? Ahahhahahahahaaahah I crack me up.

Back under your rock you go.
This is either the best troll Slashdot has seen in a while, or we've got a low UID grumpy old git...
Damn, I thought I was going to get first post AND call out a dupe, but damnit I was beaten!
1 out of 2 ain't bad.
"Haven't we seen story this before?"

Yeah, that damn liberal Conservative party. They'll be the ruin of this country, I tell you.
Do your bloody homework!
