    I don't know if that's true. Most people i know (at college) use ICQ. why? because the people (like me) who fix their computers and setup their network connections use it.

    It's the same as with Mp3.

    I personally don't see anything wrong with misspelt redirectors.
    1) It's a whole lot nicer than just getting an error message
    2) no one gets hurt, because no one is impersonating anyone.

    Creatonism doesn't deserve to be presented as a thoery. A scientific theory must be accompioneed by evidence. Creationism does not have this --it has no physical evidence what so ever. The Torah is not evidence.

    the reason they bother is that companies must defend their trademarks, patents, copyrights, etc. or they lose them.

    Even thought the Davinci bites (and believe me it does), if 3com doesn't defend it's property, it will lose the ability to defend from real competiors (read Handspring and Microsoft)

    it's actually not such a weird match.

    AMC has a devotion and a love of movies much like the one's MSt3k rifs. Luckily, they also have a sense of humor --so they can accept Mst3k. Plus, much like CC years ago, they really need to increase their ratings. One way to do this is to take a "quirky" show that can grab huge amounts of people who largely ignore the popular shows.

    No really. It has an awful lot of rabid fans (like me) who would pay good money to see the show. PBS doesn't care about ratings --since thwey don't have ads (okay some of the shows sometimes have "sponsors" ) all Pbs cares about is donations.
    We have to save MST3K!

    is there even a standard for DVD audio?

    Does anyone think that DVD audio is going to take in ten years? If they just used DVD VIDEO and didn't used the video part of it (or maybe put videos on it:)) they could probably halve the period of adoption. (but they won't do it --trust me)

    It hasn't been going on for centuries! The problem was caused by the British who promised Palestine to three groups: The Jordanians (Arabs), Palestinians (also arabs), and the Jews. Before the 1940's Jews and Arabs got along great. It was far better to be a jew in The Ottoman empire than to be a jew in the Russian Empire, for sure.

    actually, it has.

    A person living on the same floor of the droms as me needed to email a paper to a prof and couldn't
    do it (her ppp numbers were all incorrecrt.) I fix this and we go out to dinner afterwords (with her paying no less)

    We had it in the school i used to go to. Bess was so stupid. If you wanted to get around its moronic Dog picture ("bess can't go there" all you had to do was open the link using a html editor like frontpage or composer.

    furthermore, bess blocked sites on evolution, John Irving and Kurt Vonnegut. FI you complained they sent you a nasty letter that basically told you to hush up and stop complaining

    furthermore what abbout all the engine reasearch they are doing. (venturestar, ion drives)

    i thinkk what nasa is doing with venturestar is what they are going to have to do from now on. develop the prototype themseles and get paid to do it by aerospace firms.

    I didn't mean that "all" of everyone's taxes be paid in a self parcelled out manner. Wha6t i meant is that a small percentage of one's taxes (at most maybe 6-7% maybe more for small incomes) be parcelled out this waý.
