I have a really nice TV in the livng room, bu I don't have a spot in which to put one in my bedroom. I wouldnt mind having the optioon of watching the last quarter of a basketball game, or the last half hour of a film while laying on my nice comfy bed. I don't understand why people are hostile to the idea. I'm waiting for my cable provider to annouce something similar.

No one forgets that America's founding fathers successfully used France to help secure America's independence. France of course did not help America out of the goodness of its heart, they just wanted to weaken the Brits. France of course was too cowardly to direct contest Britain at that point and that is a trait that has followed them for hundreds of years.

I owned 2 of the systems and my brother had the other one. I base my opinion on the games, not meaningless numbers. I enjoyed the GC but all this nonsense about it being as powerful as the other two is just that -- nonsense. People are already starting to claimt that the Wii will be almost as powerful as the 360 and PS3. It won't be. And there's nothing wrong with that. It appeals to people in other areas.

More than likely this guy is a plant by Sony. We all know their history of fake movie reviews and product reviews as well as their other unsavory business practices.

I don't feel it's my duty to subsidize Sony's Blue-ray business. I don't care about Blue-Ray right now and would much rather have a console that is $300 cheaper. Sony has only given me one choice. And that is to not buy a PS3.

This is not unique to Microsoft. Any huge corporation that enjoys oversized success and has a small contingent of superwealthy employees by way of stock options faces this future. The prospect of unscene wealth no longer draws employees to Microsoft -- those days are over. So there is an inherent resentment amongst the new people towards the older crew who they perceive as probably not working as hard.

Google will face this. As will any other company who comes along and decides to reward its early people with stock options. Just give it time.
