  20. United States of Europe New Currency THankful... on The Euro · · Score: -1

their new currency isn't the ruble

Europe celebrating its collective freedom rolled out the world's newest
currency, the Euro. A symbol of the United States of Europe's
interdepence and unity as an economic force, the Euro finds a home in a
Europe that would look much different were it not for the United States
of America. A lot of celebration is going on in the streets of Europe
today but not much recognition is being paid to the nation that put
itself on the line fighting to ensure that a democratic and free Europe
    existed. That is a shame.

45 years ago the Soviet Union, in its quest to install a worldwide
communist hegemony, had reached its tentacles as far west as East
Germany. Eastern Europe fell entirely unders its yoke; The same
Eeastern Europe that so desperately yearns to be accepted into the
European Union. What stalled the Soviet Union's path of European
domination? Yep, the United States of America.

What has the United States of Europe done to thank the United States of
America from rescuing them from a lifetime of borscht soup and
blintzes.....nothing, except blocking ol' Jack Welch from taking over
Honeywell as an expression of European economic strength. Europeans
have shown themselves to be the most ungrateful people on the planet.
The Japanese have shown a stronger fidelity to the United States of
America...and they were only nuked by them....twice. Maybe that's
where the United States of America went wrong. We didn't nuke Europe.
It's still not too late, I suppose.

  21. "One Overheats" on Probing the Guts Of the Consoles · · Score: -1, Troll

Why is Rob Malda such a Microsoft hater? I don't understand this guy. To toss out a statement like this with no basis in fact is a classless act.

It appears Rob has become a very cynical person in the last year or so. His antipathy towards Microsoft has become very overt. Rob also seems to have retreated into a weird little world where he is only interested in anime, sci-fi movies and game consoles. He is so out of touch with reality that it makes it painful to visit this anymore.

I can't wait for Rob to just quit. He obviously doesn't enjoy his job anymore.
