    I would rather have everyone looked after than lose my entire family in some idiotic car accident because "you are an asshat talking on your cell phone". If i'm endangering someone else, i should be told what the hell i'm doing and it should be fixed.
    Trust isn't just given, it's earned. Hence you have to pass a test to drive. Even though people still can't drive but whatever.

    I just think that's an ignorant post. If technology can save lives, let it. I'd rather live and be bothered than watch my wife and little girl smoulder in the burning metal of a vehicle.

    They could just use something like RFID in cars. If you approach a 60MPH speed sign, then your car is told to go no faster than 60mph? Something like that. Why can cars go over 100mph if the maximum speed limit is around maybe 75mph?
    Then we can have cars that drive for us and we can sit back and drink, yet not drive. woo!

    That's what i was going to ask. Windows does not instantly imply Microsoft. To me, windows are used to look out of. Although there are similarities which are pretty funny. Windows are fragile and break easily. I guess the software is aptly named but i can't see how they can use windows as a trademark without the microsoft. IANAL but i was always curious about that.

    Could this set a precedent with the RIAA hitting up other countries now? I wouldn't expect AU to give in to them. All I can say is that it's not surprising. When will they realise that this will not save their failing business model.

    I'm sorry but the Gov't seems to take more of my money down here than it did in Canada. At least I was getting something back up there. Down here all i get are new laws that restrict what you do. More taxes, higher prices, more stress, less jobs. WTF, this is not the country i moved to just 4 years ago. It's pretty sad. Live in Canada for a few years and tell me where you'd rather be, pick any province other than Newfoundland...that's a scary place ;)

    Propaganda, that's the real enemy. Here in the US, Europe is seen as ignorant loaners who don't want to help anyone take over the world. I'm not a big fan of the french attitude, and I am french (Canadian). I just hate to see people blindly spout vulgarities when most of them probably have never met a real frenchman. In my experience, they're annoying but fun at parties.

    I noticed that too. I mean in Dark Alliance II they did it right. That little quick menu was awesome. Much improved from DA 1. I was surprised to see how counter-intuitive the spellbook was in this game though. I haven't had too many lockup problems or graphic issues either. The heavy-hitter for me is the magic bindings, it's just horrible.
    One addictive game for sure, I love this engine they developed. Like playing Icewind Dale meets Gauntlet, two games that are excellent.

    Yes I played that game and the attack controls were actually pretty good. They released another game with the same engine (no reference sorry).
    I thought it was revolutionary at the time, hard to get used to since you'd have to hit multiple buttons and click and drag the mouse to do an attack, but if you got good at it, the game was very fun.
    Always love chopping goblins to bits. Was funny too in that you could cut off an Orc's leg and then pick it and beat him with it, great stuff.
