Christ man, show a little respect. Asa's working on moz for all of *us*. Why don't you do something constructive, like fixing bugs? And btw, he did have a valid point.
He states that he could not get the assembly of the cube perfect: "I got it pretty close but not perfect. I used 1.25" wood screws to hold the cube together." If anyone else is considering such a project, might I suggest This to That Tells you what kind of glue to use for various surfaces.
I'm using linux, and i feel that the performance (with regard to the menus) is comparable to NS 4.7x True, the last release was still "bulky feeling" but I don't think this is the case with the 0.9 release. Anyway, even if you feel that you are not getting "instantaneous" response from the menus, that is not a reason (for me) to keep useing netscape 4.7x. The stability, and the fast rendering make Moz worthwhile.

Well, you know, i've heard nothing but good things about Konqueror, and am looking forward to trying it one of these days. The only thing holding me back is the fact that there is no java support. Is this still true? I am assuming that I do not have to have KDE installed to use this right? Just the libs?

Hmm. Unlikely at best. But the fact is that this browser is very stable (java has not crashed my browser since a nightly DL'd a week ago) It's quite fast on a 450 PII with 128MB of ram, and the rendering engine rocks my world. Finally, there's no reason to keep using Netscape 4.7x
Maybe he meant xMach. Who knows. But this article feels like a flame. I don't care for the BSD license, but there *is* software released under this license, and if a company wants to make money with BSD licensed software, so be it. This authot has no right to bitch about it.
Hey, maybe i'm just special, but my.netscape.com displays great in a nightly from a yesterday. What build ID's are you guys using, if in case it was a mozilla problem? Or did my.netscape.com fix the site so that it works in mozilla now? Whatever the case may be, the nightly that i'm running is (almost) great.

You don't find this funny? I believe the humor lies in the somewhat crazed translation. You may want to read the "All your base are belong to us" part once again.
They say on the site that there's very little noise emission.
I'd like to actually hear a couple of these things in action. Or at least see some decibel data. It seems doubtful that a two stroke engine is "low noise emission" without a bit of work.
This is completely uncalled for. How do you expect people to support the EFF appeal of dumbass Kaplan's judgement if you don't educate them? Alienating potential footmen in the jihad against DMCA is probably not a good idea. We need all the people we can get.
I know that this has been posted before, but here it is again...I love mozilla html rendering. I can't believe how fast it loads Linuxtelephony.org

Christ, Bill. Get a grip. What about Galeon? Konqueror? Lynx? Netscape 4.X? Mozilla? Opera? Maybe there are no other browsers out there for *you* but there are plenty of choices. Plenty of good choices. And the great thing about linux is that you *can* run MSIE on top of wine. At least last time I checked the database...
It's easy to admit powerlessness. Please walk the path less travelled and fight harder against the power. Be it through civil disobiedence (read: piracy) or some other means such as an absolute refusal to use products by certain vendors. We are, in the end, not powerless --just lazy. Alternatives exist for almost everything. We just have to look hard and re-train to use these alternative resources.
To clear things up a bit, you should know that benzodiazepines are not anti-spasmodics. And they are not excellent at stopping *spasms*. They are central nervous system depressants, and thus their use in epilepsy. They stop the aberrant electrical activity in the epileptic focus and stop it from generalizing. They have nothing to do with the muscle contractions in generalized tonic clonic seizures.
I called up the Micron tech support guys once, and after a few minutes of shooting the shit about a failing hard drive, I hear this banging and screaming in the background. I asked the tech support guy what was going on and he replied "Sorry, we're in the process of beating each other with broom-handles." Man, I never called tech support again after that.
Ok, maybe I am unenlightened, but why exactly did netscape make Java for M18 a separate module? I have been using NS 4.76 on slack for a while, and I don't remember ever installing a separate module or anything like that for it. I know a bunch of people that have tried to use M18 and Java, and all they get is "Failed to start Java VM." I think that Moz would be much better for the user if there were absolutely clear instructions on installing Java for the M18 and above builds, (and don't tell me that it installs automatically --it hasn't for me or many of my friends yet) OR at least acknowledge that there is a problem installing on some systems --and help find some sort of resolution. Second, I would like to say that I still have faith in the mozilla developers, and would like to give them some recognition for the fine work that they have done thus far. I know that there are some problems with Moz, but I *still* have faith that they will be worked out before the final release. I mean, Moz now is amazing compared to previous milestones. So, if any Moz developers are reading this, keep up the good work (and don't let me down you bastards).
Yeah. This sucks. Google needs to manually change the directory so that microsoft.com comes up again when doing the query.
