Everyone wants to own, but the real estate issues are making it harder and harder for people to get into houses. Prices are up, and lenders are being much more picky. If you can't buy healthcare for yourself, how will you afford the children?

Whenever anyone complains about the US using torture, or reducing civil liberties, or spying without a paper trail...the standard response is "At least it isn't as bad as *insert oppressive regime*". Coal has hidden costs, such as the effect of the additional carbon in the atmosphere and the pollution from the plants. We should un-hide those costs, and put them right in the purchase price so people can make informed decisions when choosing their energy sources.
