Except that OSX requires you to buy in to the hardware to get the software, and the software isn't distributed freely regardless. OSX isn't the answer to the "desktop linux is dead" question because it's a commercial closed source application.
Jackson took his liberties and made significant changes to the story while omitting significant characters or altering their roles significantly. He even had the ghosts from The Frighteners make an appearance. I don't think del Toro would end up with much different, and I think he's better suited for telling a story like this(and reducing all that goddamn CGI)
Pity it's Jackson. I would love to have seen what del Toro could have done with it. He's more suited to the fact that the Hobbit is in itself a dark fantasy kids story, which is what del Toro is the best alive at.
My first language and I wish my only. I don't know if it is because it was my first, but it's the only one that I feel like can accomplish everything I need in a very logical and clean fashion. Java comes close because it feels close, but the extra layer of syntax pisses me off.
Anyways, I remember the project in high school that I was working on when it clicked in my mind as a language I can read rather than a bunch of mumbojumbo that I had to try to interpret. Thank you, recursive merge sort project.
After working for a decade in tech support, the best "ticket management system" (aka CRM) I've seen is Clarify. Closed source, but leagues better than anything else closed, OSS, or other(and I've used Goldmine, SalesLogix, and others). There is nothing wrong with closed source if it's just better.
It's a great comparison because the iPhone targets the casual phone user. It's not a phone for a power user. Similar to the iPod, which doesn't even play OGG like a 30 dollar Sansa Clip. 360 and PS3 are for the power users, Wii is for the mass market.
And this is true, but it's not really EQ anymore either. It's EQ+16(almost 17) expansions. The game is so drastically different at a fundamental level it's not even the same game anymore. And it really hasn't been that way since Velious
And that is where your sales agent analogy breaks down. In the case of an agent, his clients are trying to maximize their revenue. In this case with the lawyer, his clients were trying to get justice (even the local DA and FBI were siding with the school, so the students were obviously not going to get justice any other way).
Except that you're talking about criminal law, not civil law. This is a civil law case. Civil law is about money.
Sounds a lot like Everquest(which is good). MMOs are too easy these days. Wah wah kill the same creature over and over again. None of these kids know anything about difficulty and repetition. They've never killed Aviaks, Frogloks, etc for weeks on end to get through one hell level.
He didn't say they were useless. He said that 2/3 of the settlement is ridiculous, and it is. Agents make 5-20% cuts to do the same thing(negotiate, draft paperwork, follow regulations, etc).
The problem is with the percentage, not the fact the guy was paid for his work.
Well, IIRC it's intended purpose was for embedded devices. They were talking about smart fridges, security systems, etc. Basically networking your home with smart devices that were running on Cell and then being able to use that processor juice distributed across the devices since the Cell scales very well(which is why the PS3 makes a great supercomputer farm)
Zuckerberg will only be a genius if he sells it before it tanks, which is inevitable. ICQ, MySpace, and other social networking services all had their time and all of the original owners cashed out. The Interweb denizens are fickle people, lest we all forget.

It's called Smartshoring. And working from home is called Homeshoring. Can I get WinTheLottoShoring?
Which is funny since WM7 phones aren't backwards compatible software wise.
We'll need AdBlock Plus and NoScript for our TVs
So much for XMB. Unless, of course, this is part of a plan of pushing out PSP phones running on Android.
And as a result there are a ton of things they just can't do unless they jailbreak the phones

Tedium is difficulty to the current generation.
Robocop 2 isn't redundant.
So you've got a robot guarding Nuke. Sounds familiar....
Most auto settlements, generally negotiated by lawyers working on contingency, take half. And those guys are generally the real scheisters.

Having the ZunePass is a huge boon considering it's the best music service around
If you want to go to the castle, put in SD card 2.
If you want to go to the dungeon, put in SD card 3.
Never even heard of it. I wonder how many dozens of obscure Google services there are out there
Bees are the primary pollinators in our world. Without them we'll have serious issues with plant growth and our food supply
