I've been using the eCryptFS built into Ubuntu & touching/fsckcheck in either a recovery or single-user shell every time power gets cut but I'm sure you want something a bit more fancy...
I once found out by chance & server fault they where using it when I was like 12 or something, & back then OS X was still a 'thing'. Since they've gone through at least 2 major web design revisions...
Once they learn the slease of the businessman they have the option of going rogue & making much more money on their own terms. Just starting up a servicing business here in CA & I have to say, the assholinness of pushing "system optimization" for another $50 is the hardest part.
I actually have a school's old library of 16mm educational films, & a few movies, so I'm biased towards 16mm but the larger 18mm reels are heavy, it might not even be physically possible on Legos without turntables, but then you need to have angled rollers for the threading to get the picture up-right & all that...it'd take up the whole table:P
A cloud infrastructure will only work even remotely affordably if you ARE the cloud, & you can't do that on windows (at least not easily). You'll need a shitload of rackmounts, switches, a highly expensive dedicated line, & you can forget about getting in bed with Windows; you'll need Ubuntu Server as a MINIMUM, say goodbye to your pretty little GUI & your.NET. Seriously, a Win2008 VM? It's like you're a kid banging 2 sticks together to get teamspeak to work.
While their multitouch / slate support is shoddy at best, I believe their business model is what kills it. If Microsoft only volume-licensed & driver-signed OEMs with the explicit intent of not pre-packaging bloatware (or at least offering an option to auto-remove it once it's out of the box), Windows would suck a lot less ESPECIALLY on low-powered devices. (but it still won't be great until they get proper package management & a real file system:P)
You'll be missing out on the sharp glow of an EGA/CGA CRT& perhaps the static sound of an original SB16 but that's about it. Only thing I haven't seen DOSBox run is Windows 1.01, & that was a while back when I checked.

Why in my day Oracle had to support my UNIVAC for fifteen miles in the snow barefoot uphill both ways!
I already tried that thread, everybody called me a libertarian conspiracy theorist.
REGULATE WALLSTREET. You'll get JFK'd in the process but that's where they're all going...
China uses a giant national proxy infrastructure to censor information about the 1989 protests! News at 11.
Just played TLJ for the 10th-ish time, first time in about 5 years. I was actually surprised about the amount of sex, cussing, drug use in the game!
Beautiful artwork, music, compelling story, etc. You really can't go wrong!
We have a good thing going here, don't fuck it up!

*Jacque Fresco...derp
He thinks he has the scientific method patented or something...
Why travel a gigameters or even petameters when we can travel less than a megameter to get our fuel?
Toss the certs & the 'job' out the door, start your own business. Ask me again in 2 years & I'll let you know if it works.
You broke our hearts TRS, I don't think we can trust you yet again, not now...
*18" reels derp

I follow KCNA's official news proxy on twitter & I see no mention of it. Did someone pick it up via a television broadcast or something?
Unless you're being fiscally damaged this isn't even news, just everyday IT whereabouts.

Really, did anyone expect Microsoft to be the company to write a machine-language interpreter for legacy support? This isn't news.
This is more or less how most of the world is; the US is one of the few places where being a scientist isn't synonymous with being respected.

Wait this report says nothing of the sort kinda what the fuck.
