Seems like a bigger deal than it is-- had Assange done what everyone told him to do & take the extra 5 minutes to censor all the names, it would still be law-abiding! Well...names of the human-rights-violators should still be left intact...
Well of course but let's be honest, if it's never going to have more than 1GB of RAM, then chances are it's wasting EVERY OTHER RESOURCE for the shoddy benefit of one.
It's been done before & it sucks, especially on low-end devices (this is why whenever I find a Windows rig that has & will never have more than 1GB of RAM, I disable the Superfetch & readyboost services!)
What they REALLY need is an intelligent distributed proxy system at every call tower where hits are tallied by region/state/nation, in that order, & pre-distributed accordingly-- pushing it to every device is just fucking retarded.
Please revise this to say that Reggie is president of Nintendo OF AMERICA. Satoru Iwata () is still President (& in most cases executive producer of most good in-house games)
Maybe their government was stupid enough to think Windows & Mac was "every platform"! Hey-- it's not like they prematurely said they won a resource war while using non-existent weapons for justification!
We all have to get together some time & coin a derogatory term just as offensive as the N word, but for the copy'right'. Then, we need to heavily document it's creation to ward off the trademarkers so they can't stop us from calling them it.
Are they TRYING to make HTC look attractive, affordable, & overall a good investment!?
Guess what'll make my HTC Aria (Liberty) awesome!? In 2 years when my contract expires, I'll have a sleek, affordable phone running Cyanogenmod Android 5.0 "Generic Food", retaining any resale value a 600MHz (825 when on-demand OC'd) will still have!
...At least in terms of the trademark. Super Pac is too close to Super Pac-Man ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Pac-Man ), & when it comes to trademarks, close enough is always too close. There is a chance they may have copyrighted the gameplay or game scenario as well, though with the millions of Pac-Man clones out there that won't hold up in a court IMO.
I'd hardly call it news. I can guarantee anyone here expected it to flop like a fish w/ it's head cut off & tossed into a desert within the first week on the market, like that other retarded phone Microsoft launched.
Seriously, who would buy a phone with no SDK (= no apps)? Furthermore, simply purchasing this pseudo-smartphone would be an (unwise) investment of at least a $15 data plan for at least 2 years, or $300! Why not get a fully POSIX-complient phone while you're at it, then!? Hell, most embedded electronics are these days!
If their servers hadn't already been DDoS'd (whether by us or by anon), I would use all my processing power to post URL's to trollface on every article.
Remember all the beef the original eee-pc keyboards got? I switched all the keys around & typed in Dvorak, & was able to get up to my standard wpm on it in no time! Many switch to Dvorak because the ass-hattery that is the QWERTY layout has given them RSI. I, on the other hand, enjoy it's simple ergonomic layout that doubles as anti-retardation.
I once read an article here of a consumer-based data center building their own linux-based NAS boxes as they found commercial solutions poorly economical. If you want a bare system (w/o monitors, keyboards, etc) you can easily get the parts for under $200 on NewEgg, granted you sacrifice the optical drive (a $25 value!), switch to Ubuntu (they sell support licenses just like RHE), etc
Assembling 1K computers, however, will be a cost in itself, monetary or not; just remember to factor that into your equation.
GNU/Linux Android would be FUCKING AWESOME, but OpenJDK Android would retain a good amount of compatibility!
Wait, these aren't explicitly false identities? This is normal stuff then, with the only shocking thing being the sheer number...
The funniest thing is that this document wasn't classified (not that THAT means anything these days :P)

Exec #1: We're not administering one of our projects properly Exec #2: BLAST IT WITH PISS AND KILL IT WITH FIRE
I guess the MPAA didn't catch wind that Google owns it's own dedicated lines & DNS servers, & is effectively it's own ISP...

What weighs more...a thousand super-light CAT5e cables, or two-thousand optic modems + one thousand strands of fiber...
At least they have the decency to kill your connection; Here in the states AT&T & Verizon probably wouldn't even allow that as an opt-in option.
