Why are we even having this discussion about what Microsoft innovated and which company is the best innovator, because frankly none off them innovate anymore. The easiest and most effective way to become the biggest player is to bully everyone else with patent lawsuits. Microsoft, Apple and Google are all exactly the same when it comes to employing dodgy business tactics.
Hopefully this will finally lead to a revolution in the patent system. There is absolutely nothing more damaging I can think of than when frustrating competitors is a better business tactic than innovation. The abuse of the patent system needs to stop, fast!
I refuse to browse it for any longer than a second.
But I am also man enough to admit I bring my broken clothes to a turkish tailor who fixes them perfectly, I mean you can see the seams and patches, but isn't that what you youngsters are paying extra for anyway? Pre-torn pants?
Every day I live in this country on this continent, I read the news and I get depressed, angered and scared. You can say what you want but if this bullshit keeps continuing we will be living in George Orwells 2012, I guarantee it.
Man Google keeps pulling shit like this. Everytime they make a new 'user interface enhancing web 2.0 nonsense addition' the support forums are flooded with people complaining that they can't get their old look back. And Google just doesn't give a crap. Not planning to get a Chrome laptop so this hardly affects me, but changing stuff without offering a way to keep it in the old state is just a dick move.
I gave the game another shot, because I really wanted to give the 'fabulous new revamped overhauled Troll starter zone' a try. It took me 22 minutes to finish it, and I was level 9 when I did so. What a shame.
While I would really want to rant about Blizzard and Activision and how they are the cancer killing gaming, I just don't see much wrong with the way they handled this. The guy just shouldn't have cheated.
I'm not sure what point this blog is trying to convey. Games are cheaper now than they were 10-15 years ago, so what? Games 10-15 years ago were also 4-5 times longer, and (arguably) better. The problem isn't that games are so expensive, it's that games are so low in quality these days that they are not worth the bloody money.
A 6 hour, single-player, shitfest that's only around to serve as a DLC platform for $60, or Banjo Kazooie for $80. I know what I'd go for.
"This is a fine time to be a gamer" my ass.
Well the Opportunity Rovers initial mission was supposed to last 90 sols (1 sol = 1 day on Mars), and it has so far functioned for over 2200 sols, so anything interesting they can do with it they will just go for.
Flappy butts
as my homepage. It's still around but it will be gone in a few months. Better start looking for alternatives.

You should try working on engaging in an active discussion without sounding like a total dick.
