Dude, all the latest theatre/dvd/video releases already are traded all over the place. As soon as a movie comes out, someone is in the theatre with a camera or someone is making a copy of the screen er video or whatever. In some cases early releases happen too.. like the workprint of American Psycho I got over a month before it hit theatres.
What's wrong with CGI programming? If you want to put up a professional looking site, you're not going to want to go off-site for order forms, email recipts, that kind of thing... But I guess pre-fab shops are pretty good if you're not planning on selling much and don't care having any control over your data (Oh yay! An email report!).
Anyone know any good credit card places with good CGI interfaces?
it's not that unlikely? a quick scan with a smbscanner will come up with a bunch of open hard drives waiting to be poked around on. You'd be amazed how much porn (in hidden subdirs), warez and mp3's the average dsl user keeps on their hard drive.

All these people seem to be getting letters from lawyers... I want mine! I guess I'll have to put up my very own DeCSS mirror and send the MPAA an email asking them to send my lawyer letter. Then I can frame it and pretend I fought the good fight.
I love downloading movies within days of them coming out in the theatre. $10 to see a movie? HAHA!
I really doubt people are just going to stop buying from one of the biggest motherboard makers in the world just because they didn't release some source code. I know it won't stop ME. I don't even want the source code.
Is there a country somewhere where I could plant a server and not have to worry about some lawsuit hungry Merkin company suing me? Over some stupid patent I never knew existed? Which countries don't have patent/copyright treaties with the states?
$5000/mo for 10mbit? Damn! You university is getting fucked in the ass... I have a 2.5mbit adsl connection for only cdn$65/mo. Your university should move up to Canada, get some DSL lines and save some bucks.

System Shock 2 is one of my favourite games ever! I really liked the FPS/RPG mix, more games should have it.
It's showing up in bargain bins and cheap "classic game" releases for $15, if any of you see it, pick it up! Really!

I've been able to find RPMs of all the modules I've looked for. Do a search on Google for what you want and you'll probably find it.
