Agreed. Tango is way more than a gyro control for a 3D game - we've had that technology for years already. Real-time mapping of 3D geometry is amazing technology; stuff that has a huge number of uses, the least of which would be gyro-controlled 3D gaming. Kinda surprised they made such little use of the technology in the demo. The mapping part of the video at the beginning was by far the most interesting part.
There are probably only a handful of employees left, trying hard to get that big payout. With few employees left at the company, fewer people to split the winnings with (not that they would have anyway). No way are they going to settle for scraps when they've held out this long!

This is the imager only, the sensor, not the part that sends out the lasers. You still need laser emitters to use with the sensor.
