Erm. It was the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Cole_(DDG-67)USS Cole (DDG-67) that was attacked January 3rd, 2000. And no, it's an Arleigh Bruke-class destroyer. Much smaller than an aircraft carrier.
This was a joke and I was referencing the show "Angel" with WR&H. In the show the law firm has access thousands of supposed ancient texts and other books from the various universes/realities. ARGH. So in essence they could have access to more than one version of the "Federal Rules of Civil Procedure," alas the joke was lost on you. I am truly sorry for that.:^(
You my friend are mistaken, the RIAA employees Wolfram & Hart, Attorneys at Law as their legal consul and as such, Wolfram & Hart has access to many different volumes of text the ordinary mortal attorney cannot fathom that exist. And unfortunately they do have a version of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure that allows sur-replies motions be permitted. They only have to notify the judge as to which version they are quoting from.:)
Hope this helps.
I normally don't feed trolls, but if you RTFA you would find out it was the company Verizon Wireless and not for Verizon FiOS plan for residential plans.:)
You must have forgotten that nuclear power, by definition, harms the environment.
That's just how it works.
There's no environment to harm in space so nuclear power can't possibly work out there.
Darn, I guess that means that we're living on a cold, dead planet devoid of all life. Because the largest nuclear power "plant" in this solar system can't possibly work in space either.:)
I tell you how this person got so much information about you. I work for a company that processes data for non-profits, the marines, army, navy, air force, and some companies. Yes. Data centers are a gold mine for ID theft and if the company isn't ISO compliant, you can say good bye to your personal data. Though doesn't matter if the data center is ISO compliant or not, because all it takes is one person who is greedy.
I once worked in retail for that big company that censors movies themselves. I was a cashier there, I would have teenage looking kids in groups coming to my register and one would try to buy cigarettes or chewing tobacco. I would ask for ID from all of them and they would say "Hey I am buying this [product] for myself not them. So why do they have to show ID?" Arrgghhhh. A few times of explaining to their feeble minds why I am required to card entire groups if only one is making a purchase of that kind, I grew tired of the back talking and such, so from a point on till I left that store, I would call a CSM or a Manager over to explain it to the thugs.
I wish I had mod points. I posted a comment earlier and I guess it was deleted because I "exposed" the Democrats little dirty secert about the 1960 election. I did mentioned in this thread somewhere, that the election was decided by dead people and other fraud, and that the results weren't challenged by the people. I too am a GOPer, and quite upset with some of GW's fiscal policies that he set forth. But as far as the election went, I believe it was as fair as Clinton's elections and I would venture a guess that people here were beyond happy to hear that their "hero" won the elections.;)
The Fifth Amendment of the Constitution of the United States:
No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.
So no he won't be in contempt of court by pleading the "Fifth".
Ludovico technique. And yes it does work. Look at the number of ASBOs being created everyday for english youth. Reducing the number of harden tree climbers and hopscotch players that country has generated.
Tell that to the Great Lakes with their problems with http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lamprey and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zebra_mussel. Really wish they would die off. And I wouldn't want to drink from the Great Lakes either, especially from Lake Ontario - the open-air sewer for Rochester and Toronto. Though they are trying to clean the lakes up.
Hey, if the "youth" voted, * The drinking age would be 18 again.
Got that wrong buckwheat. Unfortunately the federal govt. links all sorts of monies including the all important highway money to the drinking age/BAC levels. Which is legal according to the Supreme Court, which ruled in http://caselaw.lp.findlaw.com/scripts/getcase.pl?n avby=CASE&court=US&vol=483&page=203 South Dakota v. Dole, 483 U.S. 203 (1987) that Congress had engaged in a valid exercise of its power under the Taxing and Spending Clause, and did not violate the Twenty-first Amendment.
I can't seem to find the command `apt-get' in either Slackware 10 or WinXP. Oh wait, you are one of those dirty debian lusers that think software should be free as in beer. Get a job, life, etc.;-)
I love the commercial support that can come with PostgreSQL, if I wanted to buy it. Oh wait, it doesn't come with commercial support, only MySQL does. Gotta keep the two seperated y'know?;-)
I also love the fact that you need to download half a million tarballs just to run PostgreSQL. Makes for a nice and easy setup if I ever saw one.
Beyond crumbling: Steelton, which is only a few miles away from here in Middletown. I wonder if/when the higher middle/lower rich class will ever leave Middletown... Hrm.
I replying to this post and the other posts under my comment. My point, is that Windows isn't any "friendlier" then Linux. I've had to explain how to unzip a file in Windows step by step to some of my friends, and well I can see them getting lost with all of this too. I mean I have even had friends getting lost with upgrading IE after they downloaded the setup exe! Just my $0.03.:)
And how much will this premier office suite set you back? At compusa.com , it'll only cost $479.99 for the full Standard edition. And it doesn't come included with Windows XP. If you want to do the legal route, which is what everyone does in a business, right? On the other hand, KOffice and OpenOffice, are 1) free, 2) many times comes with the Linux flavor of your choice. And it's completely legal. And even if you wanted to use StarOffice 6, it's only $79.95 MSRP.:) You tell me which is the better offer.:)
And the market is ALWAYS hungry for more suckers. It's the only legal Ponzi scheme out there.
I think you are sadly mistaken. Incase you were wondering, FDR created the largest, legal Ponzi scheme ever - Social Security. :)

I agree with your post, don't get me wrong, but it's Brian Herbert I curse during the night, not Frank Herbert Jr.

Ted Turner left CommunistNewNetwork? Since when?!? *sigh*

It's updated once Mike Fisher is finished with the said site(s). ;-)
you mean french people?
I think the original poster was talking about Office 2002 and not Open Office, and still, neither comes with Windows anyway. :)

Tell that to a complete newbie, and they will have a lot of trouble even doing that.
