I did that once in Netscape, and ugh, heaven-forbid I should of been able to get it to "work online" state again. I ended up leaving Net 4.x alone back when I used Windows. It was IE all the time for me:(
Warp factor 9: The idea that they could exceed the speed of light exactly nine times is ludicrous. As you move further from the speed of light, the rate at which speed increases grows immeasurably larger. It would be impossible to achieve any reasonable system of measurement at these speeds.
Warp One = Speed of light
Warp Nine = 1649 times faster than Speed of light!
It's not linear, more like asymptotic curve. And it doesn't matter if impossible to measure speeds, it's sci-fi.
No plants on the enterprise: Anyone else notice this? You need plants to breathe, fools.
Today, a nuclear submarine doesn't need to surface for months for a time, only to take aboard food, water, and mail! And they don't have any plants aboard either! What about the MIR space station? It was up there for over a decade without any plants either. How do those two things do it? They recycle air! Oh wow, modern technology, perhaps they do that on the Enterprise too! Nope, cannot be, it takes apart your arguement.
1) During his campagian (1996) to oust D'Amato from his seat, he called anything west of the Hudson, the wild west. Yea haw, I think I will get a horse and a stetson;) We don't need this technology thing in Rochester, seeing we're in the "wild west". Goodbye Kodak, Xerox, Paychex, etc!
2) He's ONLY been in the Senate from 1997! How can a JUNIOR member of the Senate be appointed the chairman of the most "Important" Committee, when the Democrats have ONLY had control of the Senate for the past 9 months? Or are we talking about some a la Quantum Leap here? Where Schumer is Scott Bakula?!
Are you from New York, do you know anything about New York? Do you keep up with current Senate events? No? That's what I thought.
I thought about upgrading to WMP 7.1 (I dual boot on here) and now reading that, I've decided aganist it. I'm still using WMP 6.4. Hehehe. I want to see Micro$oft try disabling THAT or any other software on my computer. Hehe.
Have you even been in the military? I was for 5 years (got out earlier because of an accident:\) If you haven't served in the Armed Forces, shut the fsck up
Old, maybe. Tired? hardly. I have many original thoughts in my head, I usually put them on my website though and not on/. I can controll who can see them and not.
I have no tolerance for "big govt.", is what you are calling for. I thought we learned that lesson during the Carter "Administration"? Personally, I'm a gun-totting individual. Heck yea, I like the NRA. I would rather be protected from the government than terrorists. Atleast I know where the terrorists stand and can shoot them. Before I only used PGP/GnuPG a limited amount. I think I shall start using it more. The governemt has NO RIGHT to tap my email/phone/mail!!! This is NOT the Soviet Union or other 2nd world countries (figure that one out;)), this is the United States of America. And yea, it's supposed to be governemt BY the people, FOR the people. But lately, the trend has been reveresed. They want to take away my guns, my right to privacy. By the way, I usually say desentting stuff about the governemt, and that is my God given right under the Constitution, but won't be anymore once the FBI/CIA/NSA are done raping that document. End of my ranting.
Left wing fuck? That's really funny. I just happen to be a conservative Republican and voted for George Bush Jr in the last election. (: But all of that doesn't matter, but I was called a "Left wing fuck". I AM getting real. The American govt. is owned by big business. Why not look at the contributions to politicans. You AC fsck.
So technically, the First Amendment is null and void... Seeing we are now living in the United States of Corporate America, a subsidiary fully owned by the MPAA, RIAA, M$, etc. I guess it's back to vim and apache for me:( And I really wanted to use CodeDestroyer 2002 on my |33t h4x0r s1t3 that bashed M$.

Hmmm not really. KDE and Gnome can be made to act like Windows, so it'll be a nice and smooth transition from WinX to Linux. Heck, even Konquerer behaves how I would expect IE to behave most of the time. So I don't really see any reason to retrain, unless you use console + GUI.

I knew PBS had a special on this, I think it might of been Nova, but I can't remember. It was tres cool. Always wanted one of those to attack my enemies with. Anyhow, these people on PBS, they used the same (or nearly the same) methods and materials as the people in the middle ages had to use, JUST to see if it was possible and all. Like prove they REALLY existed. I wish I could remember what series it was part of. They also had to do it in X amount of time. Really neat. And I wanna see it again!! Hehe
shrugs. BT sucked the big one when I lived in England, I personally don't give a flying monkey as to what they think they own. And I was trying to make a joke.
Excuse me there sonny, but I want $5,000 for every mention of URL/URI/etc or each URL you use. I own the patent to URLs, it came through today from the USTPO.
My friend owns the domain name, damnhippie.net, and it only only has a temp webpage, like battlebots.org, because it's on the same machine as the httpd is on, and it's not web-related. damnhippie.net is a IRC network, yea it's small, but we still own the domain (I'm hosting the domain while he pays for the domain name). So not everything is WEB-RELATED.
Unfortunately, Rick Segal no longer verks for MircoSoft, so ve cannot produce quaility verk anymore and must rely on this half-assed products ve do today.

The logical fails there.
If it's "free" then noone has to "buy" it and just take it.
