    it does not demonstrate jack shit, if they wanted to be honest with it they should have shown ps1 era tomb raider on the left, and assassins creed on the right. its fraud plain and simple because for fucks sake a 4 meg trident card out of my 486 can drive a dell 17 inch monitor in its native resolution with no color loss or blurriness

    I can have a dozen distros, windows install discs, and backups of all my crap sitting in a spindel in the closet.

    If I want to install debian via usb on my laptop... I have to find a usb stick I don't mind erasing, format it, dump the ISO onto it and it still cost significantly more per gig than a fucking DVDR

    I am glad all you people have terrabit internet service and a 5 gallon bucket of flash drives, but I don't.

    hm 20 years ago I was a freshmen in highschool, and bought a 386 motherboard out of the paper for 50 bucks, another 100 or so got me a CD rom vga and a 120 meg hard disk.

    one thing that has always irked me about macintosh is when I close all the application windows the damed application is still running. This is not a big deal today but fuck man, when you have 4 megs of ram and are not thinking like steveo then its irritating as crap to get a out of memory error cause theres teach text, quicktime and pascal all still running though you havent used them for 2 hours.

    All just because you did not go back and baby sit the finder and properly close them which eats up even more time as it swaps into ram just to kill it.

    dont want to resize a window?
    bam normal, half screen and maximize and you dont even have to think and it takes a second (which I hate and disable)

    you have some pretty petty arguments all in all, which might hold a can of water back when the input device was a non spring loaded analog stick, but honestly how much time do you actually spend moving and resizing? My windows are usually set to the size I want after the first time I launch it, and those millisecond that add up during a typical work day when I HAVE TO inside of some parent / child relation ship maybe adds up to a grand total of 45 second in a 10 hour day doing it hundreds of times.

    and um dumbfuck? Iceweasel and chromium runs fine on the current debian, which requires a 48 meg pentium, yes its dog slow but fine if you dont have a 96 core backhoe wolf clusterfuck rack system in your mom's basement.

    On my workshop bench machine, which is a 300mhz powermac with 256 megs of ram, as long as I dont run into javabloat, the speed difference is really not noticable, as I am not running a fucking benchmark 24/7 to prove how big my dick is on slashdot.
