so um for them to be combined they have to work in tandem right?
for a computer analogy (since the article is on cars) its like saying my 2GHZ server on the other side of the house combined with my 4Ghz quad core means I have a 6Ghz computer, even though my server is working its ass off on demand, while my quad core sits there with a thumb up its ass showing a copy dialog box
would I want to buy a device that has to connect to another device, thats twice the battery headache, twice the networking, twice the setup
its bad enough when my nook's battery is dead, but it would suck more if I wanted to read a book on a full charge but couldnt turn the pages cause my friggin watch is low on juice.
pie in the sky ideals like you present never take into account the practicality of it, you want me to buy a 70$ screen with a 400$ watch and square the complexity of using the crap when I can get a 40$ chi-co device that's self contained
Our first rule of security is to proudly announce our base strategy to the entire world, conveniently saving you the time and effort of figuring it out yourself.
I am not paying 60 bucks to be at the mercy of your servers just to play sim fucking city, and tanks for renforcing that to me by not being able to keep up with demand of your own product, did you not look at how many copies you sold?
and hating a device thats easily fouled and irreparable is lame? ok
yea you can remove the keyboard, yea I could have spent more money for a replacement (cause you cant get to the point without killing the keyboard) but why, it would have just fucked up in no time
I dont trust trackpoints anymore, the one and only computer I had with one, a stinkpad I bought in 1994, less than a year I got it a small little fleck of plastic went fluttering down to my keyboard, and I remember trying to pick it out with some fine point tweezers, but that shit went right down into the trackpoint.
from that point, till today cause the laptop is still in use at my work as a data-logger to an old environmental chamber that little fleck of plastic remains in the trackpoint, and if you want to move up and to the left you have to press damn near all your body weight on it.
I cant shake it out, I cant pick it out, I cant take it apart cause the damn keyboard is heat-staked in a billion places and its been a pain in my ass for nearly 20 years.
FUCK TRACKPOINTS... least I can clean a ball when it gets a gram of crud in it.
I have bought three things from them, all of them were so poorly biult I hesitated to use them
the laptop power supply started oscillating at 60Hz on the DC line the 2nd time I plugged it in the ATX power supply was so shitty the modular plugs on the supply didnt line up with the holes in the box, died less than a year later when an input cap exploded the heatsink broke a clip where the metal was pressed into shape in a nice clean shear
I wont tell you not to buy their products, but I make sure I let people know my experience with their overprice bargain basement GARBAGE anytime the name is brought up
there are more workers than programmers and developers, how much development and programming actually goes on at best buy? they are a retail store, they need to focus on sales and purchaces, not developing windows 9
my wife is taking mostly online classes, and though a 4 year degree progressing to a bachelors the only class that was bandwidth intensive was Spanish cause they had some shitty videos to watch
really people, its some forums, email, upload a word doc or a pdf and email
not ground breaking stuff here, its education... your lucky if they surpassed 1998
our company is like that, we have "bosses", but they are more focused on how to grow the company, gain new contracts, keep the money flowing in the right direction, but most of us are our own managers, and once a quarter we do a MBO excercise (management by objective) with our teams to make sure everyone is heading in the same direction of the company goals.
But its a lot easier when your desk is within earshot, of the owners and presidents, not so much when you have a multinational conglomerate with hundreds of offices spread across the world all with different goals and reasons for existing.
So can it work for other tech companies? yes, will it work for all of them, no... welcome to the world n00b.
Android maybe if all you look at is consumer do-hickies, but in reality there are billions of embedded systems you never see that perform flawlessly 24/7 for decades which use no OS at all
why? the miniscule difference in speed between a 7200 and a 5400 rpm drive doesnt make a fart of difference for redundancy, which is the real reason for raid in the first place.
glad is uses every side of the screen, but just like every other mobile device its almost all unused dead space in the middle, glad it takes millions of pixels to put "5 facebook updates" in plain text onto a screen
so um for them to be combined they have to work in tandem right?

bs updates that I never noticed really effected me!
why does it bother you so much, do you keep score?
means it's built like crap and has limited appeal

exactly what I was thinking, its a boring pinball game with a lame video game attached in the middle
yay

"Except you won't be able to code if you do EE."
most people that do CS cant either, whats your point?
god your a hateful little troll
your precious trackpoint blows ass, it takes nothing to break and the only way to fix it is to buy an entire replacement keyboard
fuck that
understand?
I bought it used
and hating a device thats easily fouled and irreparable is lame? ok

not everyone wants to be a souless suit
founder buys a mac and doesnt look back
you dont need broadband for 99% of it though
its a flat forum written in frontpage, email, pdf's and 1 language class might need some quicktime once every week
if you were die hard you would have learned how to get around that bull a decade ago
go cry a river noob

well, they wont be available problem solved
(TBH I never even knew they made 7200rpm 2.5 inch drives, thats how much I care)
why? the miniscule difference in speed between a 7200 and a 5400 rpm drive doesnt make a fart of difference for redundancy, which is the real reason for raid in the first place.

cause surely they aren't lame enough to showcase Diablo 3 for PS4 again
