    I had ATT for years and generally no issues with them in my area, my wife has used various services on the sprint network and is now with sprint, and it mostly seems ok

    my current phone is on Verizon, and wow for as much crap they talk, at least in my area, it sucks donkey ass, its constantly at 3g or lower, often with no mobile data, and it drops at a gnats fart, not impressed for as much as it would be costing me.... now to be fair its mostly fine when I travel to other large area's, but I don't do that but a handful of times a year

    So while being smack dead center in their blood red map, it is by far the worst service I have ever had... and I had cellphone's since the brick with a rubber ducky antenna Motorola's on gaping wide gaps in analog coverage, and its less reliable than that

    a indoor water feature
    and a small army of young marketing people, in fact 2 more than your entire software team, you are going to need them to sell your startup to someone else cause otherwise you dont seem to have any idea's or products, otherwise people would already be giving you money.

    hell the one I used to co-sysop back in 1993 only went down last year for a few months just cause some 20 something year old ram shat itself on the original 386/DX25 finally got flakey

    its running happily on a 90mhz pentium now

    highly doubtful as pre internet in 1992 was more or less always on BBS'es that did little more and often time less than the most basic bbs

  22. yea I have a couple home things that are IOT, and yea they are fucking garbage, my doorbell camera cant connect half the time despite being 5 foot away from a access point

    my thermostat keeps resetting the region to effing Wisconsin so when its 10000000 degrees in TN it's got the fan on cause it thinks its 63 outside

    and these are not cheap devices, not stupid top of the line high end but not ebay china cheap either, and they are not reliable, so I cant imagine sitting in a car in the pouring rain trying to get verizion's shitty ass service or comcrap's woefully weak wifi connecting to my phone, just so I can open the garage door, to back my car in slightly and unload a trunk of groceries

    meanwhile the RF garage door opener that was installed in the house in 1992 works perfectly every single time, and if I really want it monitored shit man, a couple microswitches, a relay, an arduino, and a effing Ethernet shield makes a quick saturday afternoon project
