I heard somewhere that linus didn't like the mac arcitecture. I just don't see how he can leave it out when there obvously so many people out there that want it (maybe linux should be moved to some sort of cvs).

I was just using the less government control, because it is something that is often misunderstood about republicans. Although it dosent exactly apply in this case.
Many of you seem to be supprised by Hatch's position on this issue. I suppose it's because most of the folks on slashdot tend to be more leftwing/democrat (correct me if you disagree). I realize that many republicans have taken the "we must save the children even if it means infringing on basic rights" attitude because its a popular stance to take.
But you must realize that at the heart of most rightwing/republican views is about the government having less control and people having more personal rights (such as being able to copy music you own). Many republicans are actually on our side when it comes to issues like this one and censorship and the like.
well here is the deal, i'm in college, and i am really drunk right now, and i will continue drinking. and i felt like posting a fucking drunken message to slashdot. if you are drunk, post a message to my drunken msg board: http://www.people.virginia.edu/~ajh5s/mb2.cgi?name =VIEW
While this initally stuck me as a bad thing, it certantly wouldnt be that bad if the origional owners of the sites maintain creative control of the site. If that is the case, they still make money, internet.com makes money, we still get the same stuff that we normally would from the websites, everyone is happy. If they don't maintain creative control, god knows what could happen. Wouldn't be great if one day you go to linuxtoday.com and it forwared you to internet.com. Yikes!!! -entropy
Lynx gives you the choice of displaying one of the frames. I've never had any sort of trouble browsing framed pages with lynx.
