no joke, i do tech support for an isp. (visualink.com in case you want to know), but by far the most problematic modem are winmodems (especially winLT). Its hard to tell people that they bought a piece of crap with a phone jack in the back.
All this legal crap kinda scares me. Why dosen't someone just make an encoder from the ground up under the GPL, w/ out the ISO code? (I would try but I'm not that good of a coder yet) My other Question is how can Tord LGPL all of the code, he dosen't have the copyright to all of it right?
The disadvantage to this system is that there are no local stations, I kind of like to hear stuff about local concerts, bands, and things like that. Listining to these nation-wide stations wouldn't have that same kinda of local flavor.
