Actually, the biggest chain around here (Papa Johns, order online!) has a small. It's basically the size of Pizza Hut's personal pan pizza. Which the employees generally understand you to mean when you say "small" (I used to work there, back in the day).
Now, I'm not saying there's nothing sneaky, but if you want to rant about slick moves with sizing, look at the olive industry.
While the gist of your post is accurate, I gotta nit-pick. Your description of two behaviors is accurate, but the criteria is not. When you hit CTRL+ALT+DEL, you get a task manager if the computer is not on a domain, or the windows security box if the computer is on a domain. I believe the version of windows is irrelevant, as long as it's 5.0 or greater.
You're right about them being NT. You're not right about it working. Trillian expects full read/write access to its installed directory. The developers apparently think that because they don't know not to run logged on as root, everyone else does it too.
I did too. Then I wished I hadn't. The programmers don't know what they're doing (eg it isn't NT-compatible - sure you can make it run, but not with a default install). It's big, buggy, bloated, lacking "necessary features" (no keyboard shortcuts in most menus, and that DAMNED CHEAP ASS XML SKIN RESOURCE-HOGGING GARBAGE NEEDS TO DIE. Or at least be just an option.
You just gave me the basis for my next pickup line. Thanks. I can't really give you a citation in my hook up, though. Well, . . . no, I can't even holler out "greyfox" when I'm about to . . . you know, never mind. I'll just say thanks.
Wish I could tape it. Wonder how it will work out.
And if you use them on windows, you can use both of them so closely you can pass object references between functions written in different languages in the same script. This FUD annoys me.
You're right, a lot of it is built on tourism, but a lot more is built on a combination of Hurlburt Field and rich people wanting to get away from the tourists. I'm related to someone in county politics there, and he often describes some pretty big arguments at meetings, between the businesspeople wanting to bring in more and more tourists, and the established or escapists wanting to keep things small and quiet.
I've been there several times a year over the past ten years or so, and it has grown wildly. My mother, born in Ft Walton Beach, tells now-unbelievable stories of what it was like in her childhood - nothing. Of course things won't stay the same, but I don't think it will completely fall through.
Of course if you want to talk about management and finance with them, they will probably 0wNz0r j00 with their very own kind of jargon.
I actually asked a CEO friend of mine for a bit of banking advice... christ. My head started spinning very quickly and I gained a newfound respect for the "clueless luser" CEO type.
Of course, I have a good idea that they don't know what they're talking about there either. Being in executive management is about kissing ass, not knowing how things work.
Which is a big problem with keeping a stable machine. The OS has version and dependency management built in. Use an MSI to install. You can even build 'em yourself, totally free. MS has the tools available for download, and there are OSS alternatives.
Don't forget about that evil batch file language too! I also can't believe they let compiled code run! I mean, ANYONE could compile an executable and run it on any x86 system! And it runs ANYWHERE, not just in scripted apps. This is terrible! The sky is falling!
When I last looked at it (about three months ago), mplayer still required the quicktime binaries to play sorenson. That may have changed since then though.
Damn you, I just spewed Diet Dr Pepper on my new 17" flat panel monitor. HAHAHAHAHAHA

It's called "buddy pounce" and I think it was in GAIM, not Miranda. But a Miranda plugin might support it.

I also thought he could be a "one". He seemed somewhat jealous when Neo was able to stop his thugs bullets.
Actually I specifically listened for it and couldn't hear it.

VBScript does almost everything VB does. It comes free with windows.
I believe you're looking for something like a magnetic induction charging pad:

floppies are dead, man
You haven't been to Destin in a few years.

With this comment, a goatse link would almost be appropriate.

Nope. The codecs are quite proprietary. Pretty much the only way to play some of the newer .mov files is to rape the quicktime binaries.
Then your PBX admin should set it to send a valid number. Don't whine because you're set up wrong.
Unfortunately, neither are standards, so I can't play them. When they get to some MP3 or Vorbis streaming, let me know.
Her web site is just a broken image.
Actually, I was a fan of Tucker's before I heard of Miss Vermont the Deflowered.
