I hope their RMA department has stopped intentionally bending pins in the CPU socket to avoid having to replace the boards for their customers. I'll never buy from them again. http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1694667
I guess you'll just have to use one of the many other apps that have been around for years that already do this without needing to be signed into your google account.
Either set up a backup number for sending codes to that is your significant other's or a someone else you trust, or print out backup codes and keep them somewhere safe.
That is surprising. My GS3 has no problem getting through a day of streaming audio, light wifi tethering, email, and browsing. What does it say is using the bulk of the battery? Are you running a custom ROM? I've used stock, JellyWiz, and currently Carbon 1.5. Had some battery life issues with one version of JellyWiz, but otherwise it's been great.
There are apps like pdroid that can do this (root required). In my experience, it broke basic functionality of the apps when you denied certain permissions so I wouldn't expect it to ever be standard part of android. Too easy for non-expert users to break things. App developers would need to account for it and build it into the app (don't hold your breath).
I honestly would of loved to have entered this contsest, but I haven't received much spam since I dropped AOL 3 years ago. It surprises a little since I do alot of shopping online and I am active in several discussion groups. I'm just lucky I guess.
We all understand that security = 1/freedom and I hope that the government does not get way out of control. It is obvious that our airport security was not up to snuff and most part the internet is a fairly insecure place. I don't think that anyone watching the terror unfold had any doubts that their lives were going to be changed forever. Hopefully, some sort of balance between security and freedom will be reached even if it means being stripped of many of our freedoms in the short term.
Thinking about it a little further, you definately raise some interesting questions. I don't think that coming up with a way to do it would be the problem, and it could definately prevent people from using public servers for that sort of thing. But that brings us back to another of your questions. Would it be used widely enough to be effective? Sad to say but I doubt it, even after everything that has happened, I just don't see web admins going to the trouble. Even if they did, what would stop the terrorists (or whoever else wanted to hide info in an image/audio/whatever file) from posting to a board that run by someone that woudln't implement the anti-steganographic software. After all, if they have to money to do what they did, surely they pretend to run a "public" message board.
I couldn't agree more. There are some organizations that have been trying to put forward some commercial ideas to lure in company $$$, but they look like they could still use alot of help.
He didn't design it to help you produce music, etc. He desinged it to improve the productivity of him and his employees. And it sounds like he did a damn good job.
As a society, we have always been taught by authorities to sit tight and not try to "be a hero" in a terrorist situation. Whether it is on an airplane or someone robbing a bank, the terrorist is almost always outnumbered. Imagine if the passengers on board the planes had retalliated and the loss of life was minimal (Only a few per plane). We never would have known the masssive destruction that could have occured, and the people that rose up against the terrorists should have been considered heroes. But do you think that most people would have considered them heroes without having known of the tragedy they helped avert? They would probobly be chastised for causing the death of a few people and not letting the authorities deal with the situation. I hope that at least we will learn something from these disasters so the victims will not have died in vain.
There were many in the media speculating that the destination of the 4th plane was camp david. I believe it went down about 85 miles from camp david. If I am not mistaken, didn't the camp david accord take place in september. (Terrorist usually pick the day of an attack to have a certain meaning).
There were also rumors that the plane was headed for another D.C. area landmark such as the White House or the Capital building. But of course, all of this is speculation by me and the media so take it with a grain of salt.
I find it somewhat refreshing to find a site that doesn't feel the need to reinvent itself every few months. We all know exactly where to find everything when it comes down to it, I think most of us would prefer a functional old design over some crappy flash intro or other garbage everyone would just skip over anyway.

The US can exert more of a force on the UN from within, rather than trying to reform it from the outside. That's all I got.
If you bothered to RTFA you'd realize that the chair rotates among all the nations and North Korea will only hold it until August 19th.
The summary is a bit misleading
You must be new here.
So what's up south of the border?
What the hell does Mexico have to do with this?
Plenty of good ideas here
Wait...nevermind, you said under $100
Damnit, I was really looking forward to that new Celine CD too. Guess I'll have to spend my money on Aphex Twin instead.
