That right there is what will catch a vast majority of Google's users. They don't want to, or don't have the resources, to set up something like that. Google Apps are very simple. Sign up and you're ready to go. Go to a friend's house, log in, and you've got your stuff. That works for the vast, vast majority of people out there.

Running apps from your desktop adds another layer in your file storage. If you leave your desk, you have to bring your files with you to use them.

It's a trade-off. Desktop apps have their purpose, web apps do as well. Find what suits YOUR needs and use the best choice. No one is forcing you to go one way or another, you are free to keep Excel, Word, etc. Calm down. Breathe.

    There. All is better.

In the current system, Doctor B charges more than A. So, if everyone should get the same level of care, should Doctor B lower his techniques to be on par with A, or should Doctor B be the sole provider for the country and just accept whatever payment the government deems his services should be worth?

They really need to add some more buttons to the Xbox/PS controllers to be usable to me. Until then, they are nothing but cheap knockoffs for keyboards. A keyboard has what, 100+ keys? Then you add in Shift/Ctrl/Alt modifiers, and that gives you like 5000 combinations. Give me a 5000 button controller, and maybe then I'll think about buying an Xbox, Playstation.

And don't tell me I should conform to how Sony and Microsoft say a gamer should play games. I'll play them the way I want, or ELSE!! That'll show them. The customer is always right and all that jazz, ya know.

I don't like that every game is forcing the player to use movement or aiming.
Only the games by lazy developers "force" the player to use the wiimote like that. Plenty of games work with Gamecube controllers, the Classic Controller, etc.

Then again, some games, it just doesn't make sense to use an old-fashioned controller. Take Boom Blox. You point where you want to go, flick the remote, and kablam! It works just. To use a regular controller is stupid, move a crosshair around the screen with the joystick, add some power meters, etc.

I guess the lesson here is you can't make such broad generalizations. Controllers work great in some games (Smash Bros), and the Wiimote works best in others.
