Just out of curiosity what kind of development do you do and what languages do you use.

I prefer c++ over c but most of the stuff built on java is probably the worst example of object oriented programing.

  3. If you complete your work that much faster than your coworkers but are still doing the same amount then chances are I haven't set the bar high enough and it's time to raise the bar, weed out the slower employees, and make sure that every one has plenty of work to keep them occupied... Sorry but that's just the way the world works.

  4. Today, but I worry that tomorrow that won't be an option, you'll pay premium price for adware pre-installed with no option to remove it. Kind of like cable I pay a subscription fee {actually I don't have cable anymore} and then get blasted with advertising anyway.

  5. When I buy a tablet I would prefer not to have to pay extra to get it without adware pre-installed like the fire tablet.

  6. Except that if you do complete all your work and have time to work on personal projects then chances are I'm paying someone I don't need or your coworkers are taking up the slack either I fire you and shift your work to your coworkers if it's a work shortage problem or I fire you and hire a replacement that won't make their coworkers take up the slack while they do their personal projects on my dime.

  7. I don't know about the rest of the world but DCs in my area of USA work with or run physical therapy and rehabilitation clinics and have distanced themselves from the word Chiropractic and they need 8 years of education.

  8. DC is an 8 year degree and whether you realized it or not sports medicine and rehabilitation clinics are often run by DCs and they have distanced themselves from the label Chiropractic because of a stigma created by quacks with claims that can't be supported.

  9. Just because some DCs are quacks doesn't mean they belong in your list just like a DDS doesn't, they actually need to have a degree to practice. If you dislocate or break a few bones and need therapy under the supervision of a DC you will understand the difference. Naturopaths, Homeopaths, and Acupuncturists don't use x-rays or MRI, can't give you prescription medication, and isn't covered by your insurance like a DC or DDS.

  17. Air taxis have been around as long as I can remember and I've even used them a couple times... the problem is there are only so many places they can take off and land safely. Buying up property for landing and take off still means limited destinations and departures and a limited number of vehicles in service. Not to mention the regulations related to flight or how so far they have tried to ignore in their ride sharing program which won't be tolerated by the FAA.
