    If it was me designing this (and I have no idea what I'm doing) I would try to use nitrogen, mostly on grounds of it's not very reactive and you have a lot of it around anyway (the ISS mimics earth atmosphere).

    You can try this in KSP with the Ferram Aerospace mod installed (it adds a much more realistic aerodynamic model). I've just given up on it after three attempts, but maybe it's doable... ... Actually, just have Scott Manley pilot the landing!

    So, a large jeep carrier? That's not a bad idea actually. If I was in charge of the design I'd do a floating airstrip/refueling barge that can handle heavy aircraft and otherwise just mostly sits there. Just park an AEGIS cruiser next to it for command-and-control. You can even tow it in place in sections, and put it together on arrival.

    As someone who has done work on small metal ships, I have to note that the manpower required to take one apart is (a) more than the manpower required to build one, (2) enormous either way.

    Now let's see who gets mad at the lettering/numbering.

    I did this, I still got charges $8 a month for renting their modem for 4 months... getting them to see the problem required initiating a video chat with the operator and physically showing them that the modem wasn't one of theirs. Took another month to get reimbursed.

    I've had a solar bike for about six months, and it works fine for my needs (mostly grocery shopping and laundry). Now that it's winter, I have to occasionally charge it. It cost about $350 to put together.

    I used to do this on IRC with scriptkiddies... I told them that I was behind a proxy (usually true) but my "real" IP address was 127.(somenumber).(somenumber).(somenumber) and then watch them ping-o-death themselves. The nineties were fun.

    That's actually a thing, though - the way things are now is very counterintuitive. Passing a law that states "Police forces are not allowed to use weapons that are banned by the Geneva Convention" should get about as much popular support as a bill endorsing Youtube cat videos. If we draft it, how do we get a congressman to introduce it?
