This makes no sense to me and even though you're using the same syntax as mathematics, you've got some different assumptions. This is a different algebra. Statements in different algebras aren't comprable.
Isn't it wonderful when the hot/nice telephone operator helps you out with your "problem" in an efficient manner. It's like this little relationship you're having you where she's completely at your service there making your life so so so wonderful.
But then she goes and does it with the next guy too. Dirty girl.
I had fun handwriting a little machine code (lower level than assembly) -- actually just writing the bytes of the program -- in Bochs.
I think in 2 bytes I could do a terminal echo; in 13 bytes I could boot to real mode; and in 33 bytes I could boot to 32-bit protected mode. Coulda kept going.
Why can't we build completely special purpose machines? Like DOS, with no protection whatesoever -- if I get it wrong, please just let the whole computer die. You could just have a fixed byte range i/o monster for your database server.
XP and Win2003 were both built from "Whistler." Yes, there are differences in the two kernels, but XP and 2003 are closer to each other than XP and 2000. Big changes in the kernel from 2000->xp.
Nietzche or Poe said that Draughts was much cooler than Chess, because of the limited kinds of moves you can make.
For God's Sake, Legalize it already.
Amen, brother.
My company sent me to work with 20 indians and I'm working from home and getting more done.
I can get as much done as 20 Indian outsourcers. They let me work from home.
I wonder if my virtual self gets laid.
Just frickin' wonderful. In every version of the browser, totally massive security holes, all announced at the same time. Sheer beauty.
Get to cuttin, boys!
Bah! What's the point of carrying around all that imprecision with you?
Just do it perfectly, and round off at the end, dumb-ass.

Aw, the poor little baby can't handle Vista!! When you get bigger you will TRY again and maybe then, with some maturity, you can handle it.

Sorry, ma'am, too many people have handled it already. It has a funny smell.

I tried to show this chick how much better my perl scripts and abcde were than her iTunes. She didn't get it. Come on ladies that get it, speak up.

Only 9 so far.
Fuck you!
Nobody mentioned Uwe. I'm sure he's highly offended at being left out.
Go youtube Pantera - Walk. Now.
Or maybe watch Lemmy sing Ace of Spades on the Young Ones. Loser!
...and can sit and add patches from jail all day. Check.
Then, there's Uwe Dippel!
Dumps Windows because the new Macs can all run Windows?
Pismo Beach at last.
Bay Area and Seattle developers are more likely to be lefties -- developers the rest of the world over are a mixed bag.
Yes, I had to call them, after I registered the same key on the same computer 25 times.
The cure for that is to get yourself fired so you have plenty of free time to learn how to use it. Then go back and get another job :-)
It starts to freak out after a week or so. Gets SLOW.
(420 years / 16 weeks) / 5000 computers = 1:4 scalability!!!
Frickin amazing! No one's EVER done that before.
