1. 'blooming onion' is a menu item from a US restaurant chain serving American cuisine in which the items are typically and arbitrarily given Australian names. (although in this particular case the item does not have an Australianized named)
2. 'govner' is a bad rendition of an English (UK) word which does not have any traction in Oz.
Struth mate. Nothing you wrote has anything to do with straya and you definetly can't talk strine.
and if you want the best user experience, install it from floppies.
Been there, done that. Now get off my lawn, user number 622387. LOL.
Careful, you don't want to invoke the small number Gods on here. It can get ugly. I know, as I have hidden behind my keyboard and watched as 4 digit and under users have emerged from the depths and cast judgement on us lesser souls.
How about "occupying their time" with work such as making license plates, breaking big rocks into smaller rocks, digging holes, filling in holes, etc.?
And when they get out their only possible skill set will be "making license plates, breaking big rocks into smaller rocks, digging holes, filling in holes, etc.". At least with a tablet the have the possibility of learning something of value.
> the American obsession with self-reliance, which makes it more acceptable to applaud an individual for working himself to death than to argue that an individual working himself to death is evidence of a flawed economic system.
Americans have to get over their fear of socialism and accept that, all other things being equal, a community that works together is stronger and more prosperous than one that does not.
Except that the concept of "self reliance" is enshrined in the US constitution and is such a part of the American psyche that I don't know if it can ever be removed.
(bear with me.. this may seem like a left wing rant, but it is not)
For example this is seen in the 2nd amendment where the right to bear arms is enshrined. But why would you give someone the right to individually bear arms? That can only be because you want to allow them to be able to unilaterally act in using those arms. Thus in the 2nd amendment you are stating that an ideal of being an American is the power to act (for better or worse) as an individual.
How can you convince a society to act in a way that is un-selfish when the their society is fundamentally founded on the opposite?
I'd love to know how this "typo" was produced. TFS looks like a simple cute and paste from TFA, yet the TFA has the correct number in it.
NA: We'd usually expect a canal to be built for this kind of purpose, so why a tunnel?
Because in this case we are crossing a hill which is more than 300 m (984 ft) high. The only alternative is a tunnel. From a maritime point of view this is still a canal, but with a "roof."
It's almost as if the error was deliberately introduced.
But speaking of asking questions unrelated issues, you should listen to some of the Republicans asking questions. They're more concerned with whether the freedom of press applies to news organizations publishing classified leaks than the actual issue of Russian meddling with the election.
Killing off the free press was always one of Trump's stated goals with his desire to open up libel laws in order to facilitate suing the press.
you have evidence current plays golf more often than Obama did; also we paid for Obama's Hawaii vacations including 2008 vacations before he became president. so, do you really have a point?
It's been well documented that Trump is spending public tax dollars at rate well over double what Obama did, in order to fund his trips to his private club.
All the time while Camp David stands empty.
And then you have secret service costs for Melanie in NYC, and the secret service costs for his sons as the fly all over the world undertaking private business dealings.
This from a guy who basically campaigned on fiscal conservancy.
Pittsburgh is a great place unless you want to see the horizon. With all those rolling hills the most you can really see in any direction is about a 1/2 mile. After growing up in a place where I could see the horizon I actually felt a bit claustrophobic in Pittsburgh.
And it ranks just behind Seattle for cloudy days, so don;t plan on seeing much in the way of sunlight.
I guess a potentially more interesting question is whether that drone could have done $3.4 million of damage
Note that this is purely a thought exercise and I would never ever think about doing this in real life (FBI take note of this disclaimer!)
1. Buy some large sized consumer drone off craigslist for cash. (bonus points for showing up in a stolen car and having a disguise) 2. Modify them to drop small canisters of red paint. 3. Re-flash the software to ignore all flight restrictions 4. Wait until the president is at Mar-A-Largo 5. Program the drones to fly to 1000 feet, drop down over the target and release their "bombs" over visible areas and then fly out to sea on a random flight path until their batteries run out 6. Release the hounds^w drones at night (or more bonus points for the middle of a golf game) 7. Wash. Rinse. Repeat at other locations. 8. Sit back and watch the government spend a shitload more than $3.4 million as they try to control the situation.
He said after the contract was signed. Presumably all permits would have been worked out by that time.
That comes down to how much risk is Musk willing to assume. Until the contract is actually signed he would be fronting 100% of the cost and taking on 100% of the liability if it fails.
Does this mean I can get Visual Studio 2016 for a cheaper price now since it is considered old and obsolete? what about VS 2015 or older? Cheaper is better.
There is no VS2016. As for VS2015 I doubt you can even buy it now unless you get through an MSDN subscription.
But anyway for 100% of non-corporate usage the community editions handle everything you can throw at them and are free. The Pro only starts to make sense when you want to tie into a Team Foundation Server in a corporate environment.
How does the increase in drone complaints compare with the increase in drone ownership over the same time? Neither TFS or TFA mention this stat.
is still email.
Great Idea, I'll send an email to Florida for my next vacation
Be careful though, if you send it via AOL your email might not return until the following summer.
How 'bout a 'bloomin onion, govner?

Didn't we discuss this 2 or so weeks ago?
This time with feeling!

official government business was done in Florida, you are not accounting correctly
In that case the public record should show who Trump met with during his stays at his private residence. You can't have it both ways.

With 3 fence jumpers at the WH in the last month, I wonder why he wants to use the southern WH more often?
There's this place called Camp David that is much more secure than Mar-A-Lago. If only Trump was aware of it.
It's all fake news. The president tweeted that out just this morning. And if you can't trust the president then who can you trust? [1]
[1] Note .. for the sarcasm impaired, that was sarcasm.

At the opposite end of the spectrum I loved living and working in Salt Lake City for the vistas and the sunshine (other things not so much)
You can use them to jam radios and cameras in protester crowds too, to make sure those embarrassing videos don't reach the internet instantaneously.
FTFY
As long as there is local storage of video, you will never be able to suppress embarrassing videos.
Looks like Clarke is predicting the future again.
It does sound like a modern art project to me.
Oh come on. If I was going for an art project I'd be suggesting pig's blood and not red paint!

1991 called and wants its text-file forum back.
Did you warn them? Did you? All those people are going to die just because you didn't tell 1991 when they called and it's all your fault.
Some people are saying that @realDonaldTrump is definitely a bot. But I wouldn't want to tell you that, you'll have to make your own mind up about it.

End to end land + boat transportation should take less than 20 days from Nevada to the South Africa location with the best shippers.
And then another 20 days to get back to South Australia.
This.
And if you think SQL Server licensing is bad for your health, do not under any circumstances look at licensing BizTalk.
But really, for your sanity as well, don't use BizTalk. ("Ha ha, ho ho, hee hee," I say with a crazy look in my eye...)
I'm petty sure all the SAP people are simply rolling their eyes right now.
