At the same time I love the fact that US citizens are going to be "abducted from the streets and tortured to the point of death" according to half the posts on this site. No one ever considers people will be paid for their research, that people will elect to do this, the dosage will be a fraction what would be used in a war situation. Nope it's just flat out American goverment torturing innocent civilians and enemy combatants, because they don't care about us according to these posts.

Apparently certain goverments and people are enemies to the american people. Sadly some people immediatly believe these are our goverment and our elected officials, rather than the actual people who wish to kill every one of us, and the goverments who protect them, call for the death of american or any other nationality or destruction of a country, or supply them with the weapons to do it.

I can live with Clans, programmers, and producers (I'll even go with project managers) But why is CEos there, and why are they talking about companies who write Game guides? Neither really influences the industry, most or just figureheads. What really matters is owners and presidents as well as designers and producers. The light goes green, Ferrari flies down the road at close to double the speed, While the Renault is in persuit but the entire time you hear a speaker from the car "We're saving the enviroment".

Simply put performance is what matters in chips, if you buy a chip for anything other than quality and performance for it's price point you're making a mistake. If you have a critical (read "any") business you want the power, performance, and stuff that will not break down, not cheap or enivormentally friendly parts. In the same vein when is Microsoft and Sony going to learn that in console wars. You want to put in the work to be a vandal you're a vandal, but in the end you already know what you're doing. Type in a good sentance but someone replaces it with a better paragraph that's fine.

But instead of working on the core of the experience now we are going to spend time rating each others' facts, rating each other. Basically just killing time. The simple fact is we don't need it, this system is in place in a lot of other places and in effect it basically weeds out the bad apples at the inconvience of all the good users. "You'll have to do 5 discussion posts before you can edit an article" "you have to edit three more articles before you can add an article". This stuff doesn't help or appeal to anyone but "karma whore" types.

If I write a well written page about the new player on the Red Soxes, I should be able to go in to a page that links to it create that page, set up my links and go. I should be able to do this on the first day as well as the fifth year with the same ease. Adding in safe blocks and guards will only hurt wikipedia's overall goals, not help the ideas it promotes. The best thing to do is start handing out serious penalties for vandalism or obvious weasel words.

This doesn't even get into the idea of being able to do fast edits with out logging in, something that's helpful at times.
