After that whole Windows, Exchange and Office debacle, I'm never buying another microsoft product ever again.
(Seriously; why is it whenever a PS3 or Sony story comes up on/. there's a horde of people bitching about that rootkit but no one ever gets up in arms with the fact that Microsoft has rooted billions of computers around the world with some of the most useless, inefficient and insecure software on earth?)
Quake2 CTF doesn't completely gimp you if you're new or don't devote thousands of man hours to murdering red or blue wearing people.
That being said though, Team Fortress 2's unlock system isn't the result of being new it's the result of poor design. The unlock system was the fucking worst thing ever for newbies. TF2's strength over Q2CTF is that TF2 isn't just CTF, it's territory control and other variants(I'm not even sure what the hell i'd call Payload Race).
One time in another market that's not even related to SCEx they did something now you're suspicious that they're goign to brick your ps3/psp/toaster oven.
Ding. Usually what'll happen is is that the manufacturer will put out a firmware upgrade that will wipe out your customizations and leave you with a mostly stock unit with the latest firmware.
Cute story; my iPhone 3G was jailbroken the day it was out of warranty. So I played around with some of the custom carrier string options. I upgraded to a 3GS and until I jailbroke it again and fixed it, the carrier string said BATFONE.
Clearly a Supernova's worse than a 18 month old baby, I'm just saying that the level of damage is somewhere between coked out 20 something and a hyperactive yapping dog and it's certainly unique in the sense that There's a blog about the amount of damage those fuckers can do.
You mean PARADOX, and other release groups aren't talented or motivated enough to try putting out an exploit? Then why have they been advertising an exploit's around the corner since early 2007?
Right, because it's not douche bag material to suggest that Sony open their console to piracy, hacks and cheats just to make %1 of it's userbase happy.
Yes, no one dies. But the mechanical analogy still holds. mostly because flash exploits have been a major vector to infection on Windows machines. That kind of failure does lead to a lot of really bad things.
so unintentionally wrecking machines - bad
intentionally wrecking machines - meh?

Bob's Game also sucked pretty badly.

Obama pegged the tax rate at 39 percent or so.
Under Nixon, Bush 1, Eisenhower and Reagan, the number was much higher.
We also ran lower deficits too
Shut up.
You're missing the point entirely.
One time in another market that's not even related to SCEx they did something now you're suspicious that they're goign to brick your ps3/psp/toaster oven.
That's probably clinical paranoia.
I completely agree.
Everyone should have.1998ish spec machine around to remind themselves about Daikatana so we don't forget history.

Sony's done that all of exactly once, and it wasn't even Sony who did it. They outsourced the software.
Did you upgrade?
The hack, not so much, but if your'e playing "Backup manager" Sony knows what's up :)
I keep reading paranoid shit like this, like, "is Sony going to brick your PS3/PSP over x, y, or z?"
the answer is fucking no.
the answer is always fucking no.
if you do something to your PSP or PS3 that compromises the FLASH and the update happens to brick it, it's not their goddamned fault.
(I have a PSP with a dead flash that's randomly bluescreening but that ain't due to Sony magically destroying my FLASH1 from the ether)

Normally I'd fan boy about how durable apple products are but an 18 month old is a destructive force that has no equal.
There's also a fact continuum as well.
I know there's Olbermannwatch and other crazies out there; but when has Keith ever been seriously factually wrong?
The Daily Show and the Colbert report make fun of the brainless.
Fortunately for the Democratic party, they are spineless.
Debate died when Lee Atwater pondered whether or not to have a knife in Willie Horton's hand in the ads.
The FTC doesn't cover everyone but Google sure as hell resides in the USA.
I wonder if GameStop will honor my DNF preorder ticket I got when the location was a Funcoland 12 years ago.

You mean Windows machines being constantly exploited due to Adobe's lousy flash player isn't harmful to other people?
Yes, no one dies. But the mechanical analogy still holds. mostly because flash exploits have been a major vector to infection on Windows machines. That kind of failure does lead to a lot of really bad things.
I've been running Flash on the Desktop for nearly a decade.
If Adobe can't get their shit together in Windows and OSX on the desktop, I have absolutely no faith they'll get it right for mobile.
save the center diff completely failing, I've yet to see an AWD/4WD system make a car crash horribly because it decided not to work that day.
