It's funny how the closer something is to hacking, the less the word is actually used in an article.
While this seems to me to be more of a result of bad policies (admin passwords were never changes) and social engineering (which is a form of hacking) actual hacking, I find it funny that the term is hardly used at all whereas when Anonymous tries a DDoS, it's ZOMG HACK0RZ!!!! every other line.
Believe it or not, but submarines can and do surface... in fact they spend most of their time on or just below the surface. I'm assuming that's when they use stuff like GPS or periscopes that can't be used at depths.
I typically vote Republican for the simple reason that they tend to screw me over a little bit less, but with crackpots like this, I might as well just start writing in Homer Simpson for every election.
The man is an experienced pilot and according to TFA, is endorsed for low-level flying. It sounds like he knew what he was doing.
When I was younger, my father or brother used to pull me around on a plastic sled tied to the tow-bar of a snowmobile by rope. I lost more than a couple teeth to my brother braking too fast. Seems to me helicopter waterskiing has a better safety record than what I used to do, but nobody is going after that.
Be glad Windows only has four or five viable editions for home use (including XP and Vista). If she wanted Linux... there's at least ten or twenty different suitable distros to choose between on top of the hardware choices. I'd say choose an OEM with a good reputation and talk to their salesperson... they'd be able to guide you through to a good purchase based on your requirements. Better yet, go to a third party computer store and talk to them (not one of the big box stores).
The next generation of government ID will include penis/cup size, spleen measurements and two or three brain scans for good measure. But not ethnicity, that would be wrong.
It certainly lacks the elegance of the Space Shuttle, which is one of the things that made me fall in love with Space Exploration (and the fact that the captain gets all the green skinned women), but from what I've read, it's much cheaper to reuse. A shame we've decided that space isn't worth our time... not like we ever got any cool technology from space tech >_>
I'm a Tracfone customer (it's the cheapest option by far for a basic phone with texting), and my current SIM card is locked into T Mobile, which has horrendous coverage in this area (Rochester, NY). My last Tracphone was locked into AT&T, which had very slightly better coverage in NY. Even Verizon has very poor coverage in a very large portion of NY. The only good thing I can see coming out of this acquisition is if AT&T combines T-Mobile's coverage with their own and my Tracphone can use both networks. Even then, I'll still be without coverage throughout a good portion of the state.
There seem to be a lot of parallels to IPv4... our general supply of unallocated spectrum/addresses is running out while everybody is accusing everybody else of hording unused spectrum/addresses and to turn them over for others to use.
I've been using the IE9 RC for a couple weeks now. I like it better than previous IE versions, but not nearly enough to replace Opera as my #1 browser (IE is #2, Chrome is #3, Firefox is tied with Lynx as a distant 4). Best thing about it is moving the tab bar to the same line as the address bar... I prefer a minimalist UI for maximum screen usage by the web page... at least until I can afford a monitor larger than 1024x768
It wouldn't hurt to have another space race, albeit one without space-based weapons being threatened. A little competition goes a long way towards developing tech faster and better.
Maybe have a few space alliances competing... the US, Russia and India together, the EU together, China and North Korea together...
This is setting a very dangerous precedent... surely the RIAA will lobby to make it illegal for judges to understand what they're ruling about.

Easy to make your own using two pairs of 3d glasses: http://technabob.com/blog/2011/02/10/turn-3d-glasses-into-2d-glasses-how/
This was my first thought after coming across it... and I found Opera's much funnier

This is the US... we prefer preventative strikes

Operation Bald Faced Lies is on a four year cycle, the next one ending in November 2012...
So it's a government social media botnet?
Is that like a tsunami mommy?
It will probably require you to enter a code halfway through the movie. Who says movies can't use the shareware trial model?
Isn't it during refuel that the aliens/Cylons/badguys always show up?
If all of the people waiting in line at McDonalds jumped at once, the day would get about 8.3 microseconds shorter.
This would have made a great villain in Toy Story 4 (or 5 or whatever they're up to now).
If you were Christian, you'd want any excuse to drink too.
It's the only way they could get anywhere high on the budget Congress gave them

For large values of "stitch" And I consider $750,000 a very large stitch.
